We'll begin this tour from Reykjavík and visit the world-renowned Blue Lagoon for a relaxing bath. The Blue Lagoon, better described as a geothermal beach, is simply gorgeous. It is comprised of a sandy bottom, soothing milky blue-green water, lava caves and silica mud. In addition to bathing in the lagoon, guests can quietly relax in the lava cave or by the unique geothermal steam bath.
The Blue Lagoon's warm water and natural active ingredients (various mineral salts, silica and blue-green algae) are great for relieving the stress and strain of daily life. The lagoon's white silica mud gently cleanses and exfoliates the skin, and has revitalizing properties provided by the blue-green algae. Enjoy all these fine qualities at the Lagoon before heading to Keflavík International Airport for your afternoon flight.
