The Fleur is a Comfort Plus class ship with the main difference being the size of the ship. The Fleur is smaller in size due to the fact that it is also used for tours in France, and as the locks in France are smaller than normal, the ship has had to accommodate in size.

On Board
The Fleur was first put into service in 2002. The owner, Jossie, had the beautifully-lined barge converted into a comfortable passenger ship, according to her own design. Her female touch is definitely recognizable by the tasteful interior and her sharp eye for detail. The whole barge radiates a homelike atmosphere.

The Fleur is tailor-made for the limited sizes of the French canals and locks. You will be astonished how little room there is left in the locks when the Fleur enters. But, within these limitations, Jossie succeeded to build a comfortable barge, that provides you with everything you need for a unforgettable trip.

The Fleur has two decks, with upstairs the saloon, a spacious sitting area, a nice bar and a sun deck. The meals are served in the saloon. And the half-covered sun deck is a perfect place to drink a cup of coffee or an aperitif. On the lower deck, the Fleur has 10 two-berth cabins (no bunk beds), with a shower and toilet in each cabin. Cabins will be cleaned every day. The barge is fully air-conditioned.  Hair dryers are available on board. Wi-Fi is available on the ship, however it can not be guaranteed. Helmets are also available to borrow and free of charge. 

The Crew
Barge owner and hostess will be Ms. Jossie. She has won her spurs and made many friends with organizing bike & barge vacations in the Netherlands. Jossie is an allround professional who will do everything, together with her crew, to exceed your expectations.

Skipper is Reint Dragt. He prides himself on having many years of experience as a charter skipper and is an asset to the Fleur. He will be happy to greet you behind the wheel and tell you about the charms of cruising the Dutch and French waterways.

Gerrit Bushoff has been the Chef de Cuisine on Jossie's barges for a couple of years now. You will enjoy Gerrit's excellent cooking skills as well as his pleasant company. He is a true magician with all the ingredients he buys at the local markets every day and the delicious concoctions that result.

Jossie works with several tour guides. Always during your bike tours, you will be accompanied by an experienced guide, who is familiar with the area, speaks the language and will lead you through the countryside with great enthusiasm.

Please keep in mind that though this ship is quite luxurious, it is designed primarily for people seeking active vacations as well as cozy accommodations, as opposed to passive entertainment and excessive luxury. Room service, for instance, is not available.
