Description: A Multi-Active Adventure
This multi-active adventure is a great way to experience Iceland! Based in both the southern town of Selfoss and Iceland's colorful capital Reykjavík, this tour takes you straight into the heart of Iceland's eclectic countryside with challenging adventures. As the world's most northern national capital, Reykjavík was first settled by the Nordics around 870 AD. The city has a beautiful church, Hallgrímskirkja (Hallgrim’s Church) that towers overhead and houses an impressive pipe organ by the German organ builder Klais. You will hike close to glaciers and geysers inside Þingvellir National Park, white-water raft on the magnificent Hvitá River (White River), as well as go horseback riding through lava fields before jumping on mountain bikes to cycle through the pristinely beautiful town of Heidmörk.

Gulfoss

While becoming personally acquainted with nature, you will also meet some of Iceland's most famous flying natives, namely the puffins. And of course, there will be cruising on the open seas for whales and dolphins. Gullfoss, Europe's largest volume waterfall, will cross your tracks, as will the bubbling hot springs of Geysir. Along with Þingvellir National Park, Gullfoss and Geysir are the most famous sights in Iceland. Gullfoss is truly a natural wonder of the world, and a spectacular sight to see!! Geysir is the oldest known geyser in the Haukadalur valley, which contains numerous hot springs, and Geysir is also where the English work geyser came from. And to keep your energy up, there is Iceland's exquisite cuisine, which naturally centers on fish and lamb. Iceland is known world-wide for its succulent salmon! Included feasts are an Icelandic BBQ, a hearty lobster feast, and a traditional Viking meal as only Iceland can offer.
