Maria is from Colombia but grew up in Costa Rica. It was there that she found her passion: Connecting people through different languages and creating lasting relationships.
She has a B.A in Modern Languages and a Master's degree in Translation and Interpreting; she speaks English, French and Spanish.
Since she was a child, she has traveled through several countries like France, Germany, Peru, Mexico, Dominican Republic, & USA among others, learning how the locals live and getting to know their language, culture, cuisine, & history. She believes there is a difference between a traveler and a tourist. A traveler always has a learning and renewing experience that leads to personal growth.
