Day 1: Arrival in Bruges
The historical center of Bruges is part of the famous UNESCO world heritage site list and visitors to this charming and historical city notice right away that it has always taken care of its architectural and cultural treasures. Take your time and stroll along lovely parks, intimate little streets, and ancient market squares. You may also want to do some shopping. The shopkeepers love to explain the history behind Belgian chocolate and beer. Or you can find a cozy restaurant in the stunning market square and enjoy the cuisine.

Day 2: Bruges - Ostend, 24 mi. (40 km)
On the way to Ostend, you can discover the nice village of Lissewege, one of the best examples of the quaint villages located along the coast. The silence and the indescribable atmosphere will make it hard to leave. Along the route, you will also pass De Haan, a village which still resembles the Belle Epoque‘ style of the 19th century. After an unforgettable first day of cycling, you arrive in Ostende.

Day 3: Round tour Gistel, Wijnendaele and Torhout, 38 mi. (62 km)
Today you will discover more of the coastal region. Not only will the stunning landscape make this day unforgettable, but the two castles on this tour will also make it a day to remember. The first castle is d’Aertrycke, which was built in 1869. The other is Wijnendaele castle, which has a history that dates back for eight centuries.

Day 4: Round tour Nieuwpoort and Veurne, 39 mi. (64 km)
Nieuwpoort, much like Ostend and Blankenberge, is one of the favorite seaside resorts in Belgium. This small town is situated along the river mouth of the ‘Yser’, a river that played an important role during World War I. Enjoy the harbor and the nature reserve, ‘Ysermonde’. You can also take a break on the wide and lovely beach and explore the cozy town of Veurne.

Day 5: Ostend - Bruges, 29 mi. (47 km)
There are many possibilities for today's tour. You will cycle through the town of Jabbeke, where you can visit the Constant Permekemuseum of paintings and sculptures. In the observatory ‘Beisbroek’, you can learn everthing about the mysteries of the outer space, or you can strengthen your knowledge about nature in the ‘Nature Center’.

Day 6: Bruges - Knokke - Bruges, 38 mi. (62 km)
On today's cycling tour, you will have the opportunity to explore the area between Bruges and Knokke, a village of the Belgian coast. Along the way you will pass through the polder landscapes and the dunes. The main sight of this tour is the nature reserve, ‘Het Zwin’ and the picturesque village, Damme. Or, if weather permits, you can go swimming in the sea.

Day 7: Departure
Tour ends after breakfast. Individual departure from Bruges.
