Day 1: Arrival to Strasbourg 
Day 2: Round-trip to the wine villages and the region of Ackerland with rich farms, 34 mi. (55 km) 
Day 3: Round-trip to the famous wine villages, 25 mi. (40 km) 
Day 4: One day in Strasbourg with bicycle, 19 mi. (30 km) 
Day 5: Round-trip along the Rhine and Rhine Canal, 25 mi. (40 km) 
Day 6: Round-trip along the Rhine, 31 mi. (50 km) 
Day 7: Departure

Day 1: Arrival to Strasbourg 
After arrival in Strasbourg, check in to your hotel and enjoy a free afternoon of sightseeing.

Day 2: Round-trip to the wine villages and the region of Ackerland with rich farms, 34 mi. (55 km) 
The Canal de la Bruche once served to transport wine from the wine-growing areas to the capital. Following a cycle path that runs along this canal from Strasbourg to Molsheim, you'll pass through the region of Ackerland known for its big, old farms.

Day 3: Round-trip to the famous wine villages, 25 mi. (40 km) 
The day begins with a train ride from Strasbourg to Sélestat (ride is approximately 20 minutes). Then cycle the Wine Route which runs through the famous vineyards and their wine-growing villages. Among the most beautiful villages are Ribeauvillé, Riquewihr, and Colmar, which you will pass through. From Colmar, take the train to Strasbourg (about 40 minutes). 

Day 4: One day in Strasbourg with bicycle, 19 mi. (30 km) 
Strasbourg is considered by many to be the most cycle-friendly city in France, with over 130,000 cyclists and almost 500 km of cycling paths. You'll have plenty of time to explore this beautiful city as today as at your disposal. 

Day 5: Round-trip along the Rhine and Rhine Canal, 25 mi. (40 km) 
Leaving Strasbourg, cycle to Kehl on the cycle path through the deep forests along the German Rhine bank. The modern Bridge, "Pierre Pflimlin", brings you back on the French bank. Cycle along the Rhône-Rhine canal and return to Strasbourg for the evening. 

Day 6: Round-trip along the Rhine, 31 mi. (50 km) 
In the morning, you'll cycle to Kehl on the cycle path. The route leads north to Rheinau and crosses the dam to Gambsheim. Another highlight of today's route is the castle “Chateau de Pourtalès” with its big, beautiful garden. 

Day 7: Departure
