Magnifique II Bruges a AmsterdãBélgica, Holanda
A trip of a lifetime. The best way to see the small cities of Holland and Belgium at a leisurely pace with like minded people. Our North Star our guides Hester, Ester were amazing. They had very good understanding of the routes and the history of each city. Drum roll for an amazing crew on the barrage. The food and service was spectacular . If you want a slow, luxurious bike tour this is the trip to do!

We enjoyed the cycling with expert guides through this Low Countries. I became very emotional at the Canadian memorial cemetery and finding headstones from his regiment.seeing historic sites at Kinderdyck was fascinating. Our accommodation was top notch and was great being with like minded travellers . The bikes were comfortable and perfect for this tour.we had ebikes which were great for the Dutch mountains (wind)! We enjoyed the Netherlands. Amsterdam is a lively city for tourism and easy to manoeuvre.

The most memorable part was being with friends and meeting new friends from Australia!Pack clothes for both extremes hot and cold!Food was just okay
Small suitcase, rooms have little storageSuper nice showerPLEASE have Tripsite reflective vests available at the START of the trip NOT mailed to us. That would make us a more safe and cohesive group on the roads and especially in crowded cities

Magnifique II Amsterdã a BrugesHolanda, Bélgica
The Magnifique 11 promised luxury, and they most certainly delivered every step of the way! The welcome from the captain, chef, tour guides and assistants was outstanding. They established a comraderie among the guests who were sharing the experience. Our rooms were immaculate, the food tasty and beautifully presented, fantastic 24hour coffee machine too. The first two days of biking were brutal with the head winds, but getting an e-bike was a saver, one I would recommend, even as a seasoned biker! We’ve come home with new friendships - so how rich is that! Thank you so much for another grand experience tripsite! (My 4th)

Excellent staff, from the Captain on down through the chef, support personnel and the two knowledgeable tour guides on the very comfortable and well appointed Magnifique 11.
Tip: the pendulum has swung strongly towards the use of E bikes on this tour. Suggest you put the miles in ahead of time, if you plan to go with a hybrid bike so as to comfortably keep up with the e bikers.

The quality of the boat's amenities, the cuisine and the areas travelled through were exceptional. My last bike and barge was more than a decade ago. Since then the growth of e-bikes has accelerated. On this tour, 24 of 34 riders were using e-bikes. I'm not convinced that mixing e-bikes and regular bikes is viable.

This was a great trip for our family of 5 with 3 teenagers. How great to have a vacation filled with activity that we could do together, meals made and planned for us, and time to relax together and meet new people! We also loved seeing so many great places in the Netherlands and Belgium.

Riding through the countryside and neighborhoods seeing how people lived & getting the history of areas we passed through. Most memorable would be the Windmills and learning the reason for being & their purpose. Enjoyed the guides, Haans & Brian, they were informative and attentive to all our needs on the rides. The rides through the countryside were relaxing, interesting to see how the people lived as we rode through neighborhoods, visiting the Towns after our lunch & coffee breaks. The whole staff on the cruise were excellent. Chef Michael outdid himself with the meals every night. The servers, Marja & Meca were pleasant and looked after all our needs. And of course Captain Michael did an excellent job maneuvering the Canals and got us back safe & sound.

We enjoyed the immersive experience of biking through beautiful countryside, villages, and forests as the method of sightseeing - an activity that was entirely new to us.

What a wonderful trip! We found the biking very enjoyable- the scenery was BEAUTIFUL and the daily routes mostly flat. It was nice to stop after riding awhile for a beer/drink or snack while enjoying the sights and history of local villages. The Magnifique II had welcoming staff, nice accommodations, and great food. Would highly recommend this trip!!

There were so many aspects of this trip that made this experience memorable. The bike riding of course, but also the food, cabins, staff and relaxation.

That's hard to say, it was all memorable to me!! The staff were amazing, the chef never disappointed me... neverending food and always yummy!! Tom and Hester were right on with the rides...rain or shine (well all except the last stormy day). My tip would be to not forget your raincoat!!! This is my 3rd tripsite tour and I look forward to more, 2nd tour with Tom and yay to that!

The boat and staff were amazing, really informative and couldn't have been more helpful. Boat and rooms were beautiful, food was amazing, cycling was easy if you are used to do any level of cycling but still varied and interesting with different options.

Our boat, crew, tour guides, food, accomodations and overall experience was exceptional. The Magnifique II is a great boat. The small size of the group and the alternative mileages each day with two guides allowed everyone to find a pace and distance that suited them. A gluten free meal plan was available for a small additional cost and for the most part was as good as gluten free food can be. Everything was run on time but without hurry.

Magnifique II Tour das Tulipas - 5 DiasHolanda
the most memorable part was biking through the fields of flowers and the farm fields. It was a joy to follow the canals and green fields. We decided to use e-bikes, we had a headwind one day and the e-bikes made it easy to peddle. We found out the reason they are known for windmills. The weather was a little chilly, so not bringing gloves was our mistake.

The Magnifique II was truly magnificent. All the little extras were greatly appreciated. The room and bed was very comfy and the meals were superb. I can't say enough good things about the excellent bikes, the tour leaders, and the timing for the lovely tulips. The whole thing was a treat for my granddaughter and me

This was a wonderful, amazing trip! Bike guides Andre and Corrie were personable, professional, knowledgeable and thoughtful. The boat crew Michael, Thomas, Jolene, Alexandra, and chef Gerard were top notch, providing great service, great food and a delightful atmosphere! The bikes were in great condition, we chose ebikes that were wonderful. The days of bike riding (through all kinds of weather) provided a great introduction to the beauty and majesty of The Netherlands. Then we came home to a lovely boat with great snacks and food. Gerard was great at accommodating my need to avoid garlic while creating flavorful, delicious food. We would highly recommend this trip and look forward to our next tour on the Magnifique II!

The boat, crew, dining, site seeing and and itinerary were fabulous, buy the most memorable was the bike tour guides, who- "with a little luck" was able to time our rides and routes through the many predicted rain showers and keep us dry and entertained.

It was a fantastic trip. The magnifique 2 was classy with a hard working and friendly crew from the chef to the captain and beyond. We enjoyed everything about the trip. Cycling everyday through farmlands, quaint towns, along dykes and rivers was a truly memorable experience. We plan to book another bike barge adventure soon. We felt very well taken care of. We highly recommend it !

I loved all the experiences, from the boat ride through Ghent, the exploration of the various towns along the way, the Kinderdijk windmills, sitting in the hot tub and cruising along the rivers, learning the history of the area and enjoying the great food and company of our tour group and guides. Great trip!
