I recently had the opportunity to connect with a longtime friend of Tripsite, Robert Zang. When I say, "longtime" and "friend", I don't use the words lightly. Robert has been on 10 trips with us over the years, and has become much more than just a client. Here at Tripsite, it is not unusual for us to know clients by name and travel history and we pride ourselves in that. Now, when I say connect, I mean we exchanged hand-written letters back and forth. More Than Travel: Eyes Wide Open

March 31, 2015

I arrived in the rain to Bulgaria's capital of Sofia and to be honest, drab was my first impression but not just because of the dreary overcast. The skyline I saw as we skirted the city was of a Soviet influenced gray and I thought of stereotypical communist austerity and uniformity. Once downtown, walking the damp streets in a light drizzle, I was surprised by the splashes of color and vibrancy. Read More

San Francisco - Jan’s Golden Gate Bridge Bike Ride

March 7, 2015

I've lost count how many times I've done the bike ride shown below but it occured to me that I've never really documented it.
