This week's Photo Friday highlights some great shots by Dave and Jeanne Sampel taken on our Mallorca Bike Tour. We had the opportunity to ask Dave and Jeanne some questions about their experience. Read on!

Why did you choose to go on a bike tour? Why did you pick Mallorca?
We love biking and had gone on a previous Tripsite tour. Mallorca looked beautiful. We liked the date and almond blossoming time. We also speak Spanish.
What was your experience with biking before this trip?
We ride the bike trails all over Iowa, our home, as well as Minnesota, Wisconsin, Missouri and South Dakota. It's a great way to stay active and see the world.
We have biked in France multiple times on our own, as well as Spain, Portugal, England, Netherlands, Mexico and Ireland. As we've aged, it's been harder to lug our bikes and the airlines generally don't treat them well. Several years ago we went on the Tripsite tour along the Rhine between Germany and Switzerland. We enjoyed the ease of not taking our own bikes and not worrying about where we would stay at night. We were hooked.
What was your favorite part of the trip?
Our favorite part of the trip was the Dragon Caves. They were incredible and a nice refreshing break from hills.
What was your favorite meal?
Our favorite meal was the Paella at Hotel Pura Vida Resort in Porto Preto.
Where do you plan to go next?
We are considering Scotland next or Venice. Time will tell.
Despite being on a waitlist for a top deck cabin, we asked and received one upon boarding the boat. My friend Derek flew in from Vegas to join me on this trip. 910 was our room number and it had a nice sliding door/window to the outside. Read More

Not a tour on the Baltic Sea as you would expect, but an obscure tour, undiscovered by most, in the Masurian Lake District. Over 15% of the area is covered by water and another 30% by forest. There are 2000 lakes, many interconnected, so a perfect place for a bike and boat tour and our first on lakes. Read More
