For some people "the love of biking" may not be the main reason they choose to go on a bike tour. Some people find enjoyment in exploring foreign lands and cultures, searching for the most delectable ethnic food, or crossing one more thing off their bucket list. We all have unique aspirations and travel for different reasons.

For Maureen Lin, cycling presented a way for her to explore the most majestic and mountainous terrain the world has to offer! This weeks Photo Friday highlights her adventures through stunning photography!

Maureen is a multimedia/user experience designer currently residing in New York City. She enjoys riding her Cannondale Supersix, strolling museums and galleries, and getting into books while commuting by subway. She has been on a couple Tripsite bike tours including the Alpine Panoramic Trail (Switzerland) and Famous Villages of Provence (France). Thanks to these wonderful cycling trips she is now addicted to cycling in beautiful mountains. She is looking forward to visiting more mountains in Colorado this year and possibly Italy next.

I just got back from one of the best vacations I have ever had....I biked and sailed the islands of Croatia on board the Odesij. Simply great. We biked about 200 miles over six days...and sailed from island to island. Our host Bernard was great and the other guests on board made the trip fantastic!! WONDERFUL!!!

Tripsite Traveler: Bikes, Tulips, Canals and Windmills

Liz Ling • Sep 13, 2019

We recently caught up with Tripsite Traveler, Liz Ling, who had a blast on our 8 Day Tulip Tour aboard the Quo Vadis. Along the way, she snapped some lovely photos from the bike path. Heres what Liz had to say about her trip: Adventure and being active is what we love, especially when traveling. I work in a busy trauma hospital as an anesthesiologist, so vacation time is precious and trips are booked carefully. Read More

Five New Bike Tours That Should Be On Your Radar

Don't get us wrong, we could bike through tulip fields and sample creamy Dutch cheese with no complaints (obviously), but sometimes we crave something a bit different. Picture this: Exploring the Galapagos by bike & boat and getting to see the infamous Blue-Footed Booby or learning about World World II from the perspective of the Dutch pedalling by battlefields and bunkers. Maybe you don't have to say goodbye to tulips and cheese after all! We aren't trying to reinvent the wheel. Read More
