Bastide et Mas du Droy

On first floor are four air-conditioned bedrooms, including a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and three double bedrooms that share two shower rooms. A TV room allows everyone to watch a movie on comfortable sofas.

Outside is a charming pool area with a private pool, a poolside dining area and a shaded lounge area with barbecue.

The Bastide on three floors consist of on the ground floor a majestic entrance hall leading you to a large living room with fireplace, an extensive dining room, with the original Bastide kitchen. Numerous windows open to the courtyard, with the different terraces and the magnificent parkland. The owners added an extension to the Bastide that includes a long and professionally equipped kitchen.

On first floor there are three double bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, including the master bedroom. On the second floor are a double bedroom with dressing room and a dormitory with four single beds that is also a playroom for children. The second floor bathroom includes a walk-in shower and a bath.

Outside, the 100 acre estate consists of fully enclosed landscape elegant formal gardens, lawns, orchards, a large ornamental pond and olive groves and 30 acres of mature wooded parkland. There is a swimming pool with electric cover, surrounded by lawns and a poolside gazebo with seating area. By the new kitchen there is a covered terrace with dining area and a built in barbecue. There is also a tennis court with astroturf.

The landscape in this region is particularly picturesque, encompassing rolling hills dotted with quaint hilltop villages and countless hiking trails, extensive sunflower fields, olive groves and a formidable area of vineyards. This region is steep with history with plenty of sites to visit

Once in Mollèges, you will discover a village full of charm and character, narrow streets intersecting alongside the old houses, old wooden doors, flowery windows, shutters with colors faded by the sun. Its location is strategic and makes of this beautiful and peaceful Provence village an ideal place to discover the region.

To the south is the lively village of St Rémy de Provence just 12 kilometers away. It is a charming classical little town, capital of the Alpilles, with all the amenities, boulangeries, little boutiques, quaint pavement cafes and excellent restaurants. On its winding cobbled lanes you will discover the small squares, historic buildings, churches and museums, and on Wednesday the colorful weekly market will offer the opportunity to discover local products and handicrafts which is a must see. Further south Les Baux de Provence is considered 'one of the most beautiful villages in France'. Arles, Nîmes, Pont du Gard and Uzès and other towns can easily be visited in a day. At less than 45 minutes drive and to the east is the Luberon region and further south, Camargue’s unique wetland is populated by pink flamingos and wild horses

Avignon to the north with its UNESCO world heritage site, with it’s magnificent Palais du Papes, which is one of the architectural wonders of France is just 16 kilometers away and would make an ideal day trip. Just north of Avignon is the Châteauneuf-du-Pape region for wine lovers as well.
