Show More Show LessA 3 year renovation, finished in 2009, has restored the full artful splendor of 1772 while adding modern conveniences such as air conditioning, elevator, a full gym, yoga studio, hi-speed internet access, and more.
One of the famous "Seven Sisters of Como", La Gallietta is filled with frescoes (such as the one displayed below by Andrea Appiani, Italy's most famous neo-classical artist) and is the subject of a novel written in 1856 by French author Nathalie Comtesse.
Few villas match Galliettas' opulence and perhaps none can offer the proximity to the center of Como.
