Various ships or barges are used for our Bike & Boat tours, and the majority of them are classified into the following 5 categories:

• Economy: basic cabins with bunk beds and shared bathroom facilities
• Standard: cabins with bunk beds and private bathroom facilities
• Standard Plus: cabins are more spacious, have private bathrooms, and either flat/low beds or bunk beds
• Comfort: larger cabins with private bathrooms and low beds (no bunk beds)
• Comfort Plus: very nicely furnished 5-star ship with cabins with low beds, private bathrooms, large dining area, separate saloon, etc. (see below for more details)

The services available for the categories above are all the same (such as included all meals, bedsheets + pillow, 2 towels, bicycle, tour guide, etc.). All cabins have washing facilities (hot + cold drinkable water) and central heating. The ships have a saloon/dining room and a sundeck/bicycle deck. Most cabins are double cabins, but there are also ships with 3- and/or 4-person cabins.

Another ship we use not included in the categories above is the Anna Maria IV used on the Loire Valley tour.

Comfort Plus

The ships that fall into this class are the Elodie, Fleur, Iris, Merlijn and Sailing Home. They are very comfortable and tastefully furnished ships with a special saloon and a separate bar. Cabins are larger and come equipped with full, private bathrooms, air-conditioning and heating as well as flat twin beds (no bunk beds), and are provided with maid service every day. Guests can enjoy a hearty breakfast buffet and 3/4-course dinners at night. In addition to the tour guide, there are at least 4 crew members on board.

Please keep in mind that all the ships are designed for people of all ages seeking active vacations as well as cozy accommodations, as opposed to passive entertainment and excessive luxury. Room service is, therefore, not available. All the ships meet strict requirements with respect to sailing expertise and safety on board.
