Austria The Danube River alone makes Austria a super popular bike tour and Bike & Boat tour haven, as well as its easy access to the 8 other European countries it borders. Austria still captures the spirit of a bygone era. Ornate palaces, imperial grandeur and echoes of Mozart, Beethoven and Strauss' music abound. Vienna, Salzburg, Linz, Melk, and the Tirol and the Hohe Tauern National Park are just some great highlights as you tour this great country be it on a Bike Tour, Bike & Boat Tour or a longer Road Bike Tour.

Croatia Discover the joy of a Bike & Boat tour on the gorgeous azure-blue waters of the Adriatic in beautiful Croatia! Croatia has well-kept coasts with 1,185 islands, and endless reefs and bays. The many Roman ruins and old stone buildings give the country a certain medieval flair. I have read that the White House was built out of stone from Croatia's Brac island. Croatia is also known for its great seafood and for being much cheaper than its European neighbors. And with the availability of e-bikes, the country's many hills with their breathtaking vistas are now accessible to everyone!

Czech Republic The Czech Republic is known for its beer, natural springs and of course the gorgeous capital of Prague. Prague was left relatively untouched during WWII, thus its city plan has many crooked little cobbled streets with hidden eateries and shops as well as an abundance of historic architecture, making it a popular location for Hollywood movie makers. Prague alone is worth a bike tour, but also intriguing is the lush countryside, and where else can one experience true "Beer Spas"!

Grimsvotn), its high-spewing geysers, its Northern Lights shows, its amazing salmon and cheese, its glaciers, hot springs, the well-protected Icelandic horse, and of course the famous therapeutic Blue Lagoon! The Blue Lagoon was listed by National Geographic as One of the Wonders of the World in early 2012. Come see why! Norway Norway stretches into the Arctic North Cape and shares most of its Eastern border with Sweden, but also reaches overtop and touches Finland and Russia. Its western Fjords and mountains offer some of the most stunning scenery in Northern Europe and some of the most rewarding cycling. Norway is known more for its winter sports than bicycle tours, but we consider it only a matter of time.
-
Poland Poland is famous for the great musician Chopin and its abundance of lakes - some 9300! Poland has a diverse landscape filled with mountains, moraines, plains, rivers, lakes of course, sand dunes and yes even a desert, one of only a handful found naturally in Europe. Its architecture too is quite fascinating. Not your typical destination for a bicycle tour, which I think makes it more of an adventure.

Algarve alone attracts so many people, it contains some 20% of all the country's hotels and restaurants.
