Overview
Cruise and cycle your way through the heart of southern Germany on a route that connects Frankfurt, Heidelberg, and Stuttgart by way of the Rhine and Neckar rivers. This bike and boat tour follows a chain of riverside towns, castle ruins, and vineyard slopes where history is part of everyday life.
Each day brings a new stretch of trail: quiet paths along the Rhine near Nierstein, the medieval streets of Worms, the red rooftops of Heidelberg, and the forested bends of the Neckar Valley leading to Bad Wimpfen and Eberbach. Between rides, you return to the ease of river cruising with a glass of Riesling on deck, dinner as the ship drifts past vineyards, and the comfort of knowing tomorrow’s route starts right outside your door.
This is slow travel at its best - a comfortable way to explore Germany’s rivers, history, and countryside by bike and boat.
