Day 1: Arrival in Amsterdam
Arrive at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport where a tour representative greets you and escorts you via private minivan to your centrally located hotel. Your tour leader will help with check-in and serve as your dedicated concierge during the tour. In the afternoon, meet your fellow travelers in the hotel lobby, then enjoy a private canal cruise and welcome reception. Day 2: Amsterdam - Utrecht, 26 mi. (43 km)
After breakfast and hotel check-out, you’ll be fitted for your bike and take a relaxed ride through Amsterdam’s green parks and neighborhoods. Meanwhile, your luggage is transferred separately to the ship. You’ll meet your floating hotel, the Magnifique X, in the afternoon and settle into your suite before setting sail towards Vreeswijk, on the outskirts of Utrecht. Enjoy your first dinner onboard and an introductory talk on Dutch history and geography.

Cycle through the countryside to Schoonhoven, a charming town known for silversmithing. Amsterdam to Paris Your tour begins with a transfer from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport to your hotel, followed by a welcome canal cruise and overnight stay. After arriving in Paris at the end of the journey, you’ll spend a final night in a centrally located hotel, with a transfer to Charles de Gaulle Airport provided the next day.
Paris to Amsterdam Upon arrival at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, you’ll be greeted by a tour representative and transferred to your hotel for a welcome reception and overnight stay. At the end of the tour, after disembarking in Amsterdam, you’ll enjoy a final hotel night and a private canal cruise before being transferred to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport the following morning.
Please note - Airport transfers are included only on the official tour start and end dates, or when a pre-tour or post-tour extension is booked. Transfers outside of these dates are not included and must be arranged independently.
Climate
The climate on this summer tour is ideal for cycling with mild, comfortable temperatures typically ranging from 65–75°F. Expect long daylight hours, light breezes, and mostly dry conditions, though occasional showers are possible.
Day of Rest
If you’d rather skip cycling on any given day, you’re welcome to stay aboard the ship and enjoy a relaxing cruise to the next destination.
Remarks
On certain days, you’ll have the option to choose between a shorter or longer cycling route. Please note that the shorter route may bypass some of the featured highlights.

Before you travel, please check the passport and visa requirements of the country/countries you plan to visit. Please be informed that it is your responsibility to ensure that you have proper identification. For US citizens, the U.S. Passports & International Travel website is a good source of information. The Country Information tab provides details about passport validity, blank passport pages required, etc. It is important to research before you travel as airlines will not permit boarding if you do not have the required valid documents.
*Important note: Please check on the European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS) status as once implemented, this will be required to visit any of the 26 Schengen-member countries for tourism, business, medical, or transit. This is an additional check on security rather than a visa.
