Climate
Ireland’s weather features a mild maritime climate, influenced by the Atlantic Ocean. Summers (June-August) are cool, averaging 59-68°F, with occasional heatwaves. Winters (December-February) are mild, around 39-46°F, rarely experiencing extreme cold or snow except in higher areas. Rainfall is common year-round, contributing to Ireland’s lush green landscapes. The west coast, like Connemara and the Ring of Kerry, receives more rain due to westerly winds from the Atlantic. It’s important to pack layers and waterproof gear for variable weather, ensuring a comfortable exploration of Ireland’s scenic beauty.
