Overview
Holland is known for its smooth cycling lanes, but it also offers a lesser-known adventure: a gravel biking route from Naarden to the historic city of Zwolle. On this tour, spend your days cycling through dense forests and open heathlands on a gravel or e-bike, and your evenings exploring charming towns.
Begin your journey in the fortified town of Naarden, admire its ancient city walls, then pedal to Utrecht, known for the Dom tower and its vibrant city life. Each day brings new landscapes, from the Ice Age sand ridges of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug to the lush expanses of Hoge Veluwe National Park, where you might even spot the Dutch Big Five.
This tour is a perfect blend of nature and culture, offering scenic rides by day and relaxing, culturally immersive evenings. It’s an ideal way to experience the quieter side of the Netherlands, far from the well-trodden tourist paths.
