This 8-day multi-adventure tour begins in Lake Bled, an iconic Alpine resort nestled in the Julian Alps, with activities like a sunrise hike, kayaking on the Sava River, and adrenaline-fueled canyoning. You’ll then travel to Bovec for white water rafting on the emerald-green Soča River and scenic walks in Triglav National Park. Continue to Ljubljana for a bike tour and a taste of local culture, and finally journey to Velika Planina to hike and experience traditional Alpine life.

Welcome to Slovenia! Your adventure begins in Lake Bled nestled in the Julian Alps. This iconic Alpine resort is known for its crystal-clear lake and the island at its center. After settling into your accommodation, you are free to explore. Consider starting with a traditional Pletna boat ride to Slovenia’s only island, or discover local history with a visit to the medieval Bled Castle, perched high above the lake. Day 2: Lake Bled - Sava River - Lake Bled
Start your day with a scenic sunrise hike up Ojstrica Hill (about 1 hour), where you'll be greeted with spectacular views of Lake Bled. Afterward, spend 3-4 hours kayaking on the picturesque Sava River. Day 3: Lake Bled - Lake Bohinj - Lake Bled
Get ready for a day of thrills! After breakfast, you’ll head to a nearby canyon for an adrenaline-pumping session of canyoning—abseil, toboggan, and jump into cool streams. If you've never been canyoning before, have no fear! This experience is designed for beginners and includes a professional guide to ensure a safe and thrilling experience. In the afternoon, unwind at Lake Bohinj, a serene spot perfect for canoeing or taking a cable car up to Mount Vogel for stunning panoramic views. Day 4: Lake Bled - Bovec

Day 7: Ljubljana - Velika Planina - Ljubljana
This morning, you’ll venture beyond Ljubljana to the high pastures of Velika Planina. Marvel at the beautiful vistas of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps from this unique shepherd’s village on an invigorating 6-mile (9 km) hike. Learn about traditional cheese-making and cow herding in this idyllic Alpine setting. In Slovenia, spring features temperatures ranging from 41°F to 68°F, with a mix of sunny days and occasional rain. Summer offers warm, pleasant weather between 68°F and 86°F, ideal for outdoor activities. Fall sees temperatures cooling to 41°F to 77°F, with crisp, clear days and vibrant fall foliage.

Slovenia is a stunning place. I've traveled all over the world and was blown away. Friendly people, amazing (and cheap) food, and the Julian Alps are stunning as is Lake Bled. Highly recommend this tour.
