The guide will provide a tour of the old town including a visit to the local archeological excavation site. Here you will experience an ancient Bronze Age village as well as the Apollo Temple, overlooking it all. You will have time to explore the narrow streets of the old town on your own as well and the chance to taste all kinds of local pistachio specialties. In the late afternoon, the boat will motor to a quiet bay where you can swim and kayak until the sun goes down. The night is spent in the bay.Day 3: Island of Hydra, hike 2 mi. (3 km)
Your journey continues by boat to the Island of Hydra. Donkeys once were the only means of transportation on this beautiful island since it rose to importance in the middle ages as a seafaring harbor. Since the Greek fight for independence, which took place between 1821 – 1830, the island fell into a fairy-tale-like slumber and time stood still. It was only in 1957 when the film, ‘Boy on a Dolphin’, with the unforgettable Sofia Loren was filmed here, that the Island awoke and became an artistic haven. The guide will show you the most attractive sights of the capital city before leading on a 3 km hike along the coastline to the beach at Vlychos. From here, a taxi boat will take you back to the capital. You can enjoy the rest of the afternoon in the unique island atmosphere and enjoy a spectacular sunset. accompanied mostly by a spectacular sunset.Day 4: Island of Spetses, bike 6 mi. (10 km)
On your way to the Island of Spetes, you can enjoy a lengthy swim directly from the boat. Once you arrive in the Island capital, dressed in typical blue and white Greek Island flair, there is the opportunity to visit a museum dedicated to the Greek heroin, Laskarina Bouboulina. In the afternoon, you cycle to the old fishing port and can enjoy the local beach. In the evening, there is plenty of time to enjoy a stroll through the pebble mosaic lanes of the old town, unwinding with a sundowner in one of the local taverns.Day 5: Nafplio, bike 9 mi. (15 km)
In the morning, you cruise onboard the Bahriyeli to Nafplio. On arrival in the former Greek capital, you mount your bicycles and cycle along the seaside promenade to Karathonas Beach. Here you can swim and enjoy the various water sports available. In the afternoon your guide will lead you through the pretty streets of the old town in Nafplio. The sophisticated fortifications of the town are impressive, along with their rich history. Flowers bring the streets to life with their colors and the atmosphere is set by the cafes, bars, and restaurants each contributing their own individual flair.Day 6: Porto Heli – Ermioni – Island of Poros, bike 11 mi. (17 km)
On the agenda today is a cruise to Porto Heli, to begin a relatively flat, bike tour leading through a rural landscape to the pretty harbor of Ermioni. The boat meets you here to navigate to the island of Poros. Don't forget to take a swim stop along the way. The harbor of Poros is a true eye-catcher, with its magnificent bell tower. Here you can enjoy an evening in true Greek fashion.Day 7: Island of Poros, bike 6 mi. (10 km)
From the city of Poros, you cycle to the orthodox monastery of Zoodochos Pigis from the 18th century. After a visit, you can enjoy a homemade lemonade or coffee in the nearby café before taking advantage of the nearby sandy beach with its turquoise blue water. Back onboard, the last cruise can be enjoyed before arriving back in Piräus in the late afternoon. A last, celebratory evening meal on board can be enjoyed in the company of the guests, tour guides and crew, reflecting on the experiences of the week.Day 8: Marina Zeas (Piraeus/Athens)
