Day 1: Venice
Board your floating hotel in Venice beginning at 5:00 pm. At 6:00 pm, meet your tour leader, crew, and fellow travelers for a welcome briefing and aperitivo. After dinner, head out for an evening stroll through Venice, when the city is quieter and especially atmospheric after many daytime visitors have departed.

Day 2: Venice | Lido di Venezia Beach
Begin with a guided walk through some of Venice’s quieter corners, away from the busiest landmarks, then enjoy the rest of the day at your own pace. Visit museums and churches, linger over a café, explore lesser-known neighborhoods, or take a vaporetto to the Lido for a swim along its long sandy shoreline. Dinner is on your own this evening.

Day 3: Venice - Pellestrina | Pellestrina Beach, 16 mi (25 km) | Elevation gain: 377 ft (115 m)
Cruise toward Murano, famous for its centuries-old glassmaking tradition, and visit a historic glassworks for a demonstration before beginning today’s ride. Cycle across the Lido, home to Belle Époque hotels, beach clubs, and the Venice Film Festival, then take a 15-minute ferry transfer to Pellestrina, a narrow island of colorful homes, fishing boats, and waterfront villages. The barge is moored just steps from the beach, leaving time for a swim before the evening.

Day 4: Cavanella d'Adige - Chioggia | Albarella Beach, 34 mi (55 km) | Elevation gain: 623 ft (190 m)
Cruise to Cavanella d'Adige and begin cycling toward the island of Albarella, where there is time for a beach stop and swim. A short cruise then brings you to Moceniga, the start of a scenic ride along the Via delle Valli, following raised embankments through wetlands, fishing valleys, and waterways dotted with traditional casoni fishing huts and cavane boat shelters. Continue to Chioggia, often called “Little Venice” for its canals, bridges, and fishing traditions, before returning to Pellestrina for the night.

Day 5: Punta Sabbioni Loop | Cavallino Beach, 28 mi (45 km) | Elevation gain: 492 ft (150 m)
After breakfast, cruise to Punta Sabbioni, where the Venetian waterways meet the Adriatic, then set out by bike along the Cavallino-Treporti peninsula. Ride through Lio Piccolo, a small settlement surrounded by vegetable gardens and fish farms, and continue along a scenic waterside cycle path built over sections of the water. After the ride, cool off at Cavallino Beach before cruising toward Burano, where the boat moors on or near the island.

Day 6: Sant'Erasmo Loop | Bacan Beach, 6 mi (10 km) | Elevation gain: 164 ft (50 m)
Explore Sant'Erasmo, traditionally known as the vegetable garden of Venice, where fields, orchards, vineyards, and market gardens cover much of the island and the prized purple artichoke is a local specialty. With only a few miles to cycle, there is plenty of time to enjoy the surroundings and stop at Bacan Beach, a relaxed spot popular with locals, for a swim or time by the water. Later, cruise to colorful Burano, where brightly painted houses line the canals and the island’s lace-making tradition remains part of its identity.

Day 7: Portegrandi - Treviso, 28 mi (45 km) | Elevation gain: 705 ft (215 m)
Begin with an approximately one-hour cruise to Portegrandi, then cycle inland along the Sile River toward Treviso. Depending on the day’s timing, there may be an opportunity to stop for a swim at the public pool in Casale sul Sile before continuing to Casier and the atmospheric Cimitero dei Burci, where the partially submerged remains of old wooden cargo boats can still be seen along the river. Follow the waterways into Treviso, a compact city of canals, waterwheels, arcaded streets, and lively piazzas, with time to begin exploring the historic center.

Day 8: Treviso
Enjoy a final breakfast aboard before disembarking and departing from Treviso.

Day 2: Treviso - Portegrandi | Casale sul Sile Pool, 28 mi (45 km) | Elevation gain: 673 ft (205 m)
Set out from Treviso by bike, following the Sile River along quiet towpaths toward Portegrandi. Stop near Casier to see the atmospheric Cimitero dei Burci, where the partially submerged remains of old wooden cargo boats still rest in the river. Depending on the day’s timing, there may also be a chance to cool off at the public pool in Casale sul Sile. From Portegrandi, board the barge for an approximately one-hour cruise into the Venetian waterways and continue toward Burano, famous for its brightly painted houses and lace-making tradition, where the boat moors on or near the island.

Day 3: Sant'Erasmo Loop | Bacan Beach, 6 mi (10 km) | Elevation gain: 164 ft (50 m)
Cruise to Sant'Erasmo, traditionally known as the vegetable garden of Venice, and explore its quiet landscape of orchards, vineyards, fields, and market gardens by bike. The island is especially known for its prized purple artichokes, while local vineyards produce the white wine known as Orto di Venezia. With only a short ride today, there is plenty of time to stop at Bacan Beach, a favorite among locals, for a swim or some time by the water before returning toward Burano.

Day 4: Venice - Pellestrina | Pellestrina Beach, 16 mi (25 km) | Elevation gain: 377 ft (115 m)
