Extra Info
Skill Level — Easy–Moderate
It is difficult to give e-bike tours a difficulty level! If you are booking this tour with an electric bike, the tour rating will depend on the amount of battery assistance you use. It could be easy, or it could be moderate to difficult! If you are booking this tour with a road or gravel, it will be moderate to difficult. The majority of the cyclists will be on e-bikes and will set the pace. On a non-electric bike, you will work much harder to keep up. Regardless, it is assumed that you already have the level of fitness acquired from steady cycling and that you have good balance and good control of the bicycle. Please note: Electric bikes are heavier than non-electric bikes. Participants will need to master long and steep climbs which present little or no problem with the use of the e-bikes. The tours will traverse heights of between 400 and 700m with daily distances ranging between 30 to 60km through mountainous terrain. Tours can be completed without any time constraints. Streets are mostly asphalted with little traffic.
