2025 Photo Contest – Terms & Conditions

1. INTRODUCTION

These Terms and Conditions (“Rules”) govern the Tripsite 2025 Monthly Photo Contest (“Contest”), organized by Tripsite.com (“Organizer”). The Contest aims to celebrate the beauty of travel through photography, showcasing our community’s adventures. By participating, entrants (“Participants”) agree to abide by these Rules.

2. ELIGIBILITY

  • The Contest is open to individuals aged 18 years or older at the time of entry.
  • Employees of Tripsite.com, its affiliates, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
  • Must have traveled with Tripsite in the past 3 years

3. CONTEST PERIOD & FREQUENCY

  • The Contest runs monthly from April 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025.
  • Each monthly submission period begins on the 1st day of the month and ends on the last day of the month at 11:59 PM (ET).
  • A winner will be selected and announced within two weeks after the submission deadline.
  • Not all months will have a winner (only travel months that result in a minimum number of submissions),

4. HOW TO ENTER

  • Participants must submit their photos through [submission platform / https://www.tripsite.com/photo-competition/].
  • Each participant may submit up to 10 photos per month.
  • Photos must adhere to the following file specifications:
    • Format: JPG, PNG, or HEIC
    • Resolution: Minimum 1 MB (1,000 KB), Maximum 5 MB (5,000 KB)
  • By submitting, Participants confirm that they own all rights to the images and have obtained necessary permissions from any identifiable individuals in the photos.

5. JUDGING CRITERIA & WINNER SELECTION

  • A panel of judges from Tripsite.com will evaluate photos based on the following criteria:
    • Creativity & Originality
    • Composition & Technical Quality
    • Relevance to Travel & Adventure
    • Emotional Impact & Storytelling
  • The judges’ decision is final and binding.
  • The winner will be notified via email and announced on Tripsite.com’s website and social media.

6. PRIZE

  • Each monthly winner will receive a free canvas print of their winning photo, delivered to their provided address.
  • Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash or alternative items.
  • Tripsite.com is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged prizes during shipping.

7. RIGHTS & LICENSE TO USE SUBMISSIONS

  • By entering, Participants retain ownership of their photos but grant Tripsite.com a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, distribute, and modify submitted images for promotional purposes, including but not limited to:
    • Featuring on Tripsite.com website, newsletters, and social media.
    • Inclusion in marketing materials, advertisements, and event promotions.
  • Participants may request removal of their submissions from future use by contacting [info@tripsite.com], but previously published materials will not be retracted.

8. GENERAL RULES & DISQUALIFICATION

  • Prohibited Content: Photos must not contain:
    • Watermarks, logos, or signatures.
    • Offensive, defamatory, or illegal material.
    • AI-generated or heavily manipulated images that misrepresent reality.
    • Third-party copyrighted material (e.g., images taken by someone else).
  • Tripsite.com reserves the right to disqualify any entry that violates these Rules or does not align with the Contest’s theme.

9. LIABILITY & DISCLAIMER

  • Tripsite.com is not responsible for:
    • Technical errors or issues preventing submission.
    • Lost, delayed, or corrupted submissions.
    • Any claims, damages, or legal disputes arising from a submitted photo.
  • Participants agree to indemnify and hold Tripsite.com harmless from any third-party claims related to their submissions.

10. CHANGES & TERMINATION

  • Tripsite.com reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Contest at any time, for any reason.
  • Any updates to these Rules will be communicated via our website.

11. PRIVACY & DATA USE

  • By entering, Participants agree to receive Tripsite’s newsletter (with the option to unsubscribe at any time).
  • Personal data collected (name, email, shipping address) will be used solely for contest administration and prize distribution, per our privacy policy.
