Comfort Class Boats + Barges
The ships classified as Comfort are equipped with:
- twin beds or bunk beds
- some cabins with private shower/toilet
- some cabins with shared facilities
- washing facilities with hot and cold water in all cabins
- AC in all cabins (exception - no AC in lower deck cabins on the Patria)
- bedsheets and pillow
- 2 small towels
Each ship has a saloon/dining room and a sundeck/bicycle deck. Most cabins are double cabins with bunk or twin beds, but there are also ships with 3- and/or 4-person cabins.

Allure Netherlands, Germany, Luxembourg Comfort Class Boat The Allure is a very comfortable comfort class ship. It has ten, 2-person cabins, each with their own private bathroom.
Atlantis Italy Comfort Class Boat This 3-masted sailing vessel was built in 1905 and reconstructed in 2005. The unique charm of the Atlantis is due to the caring maintenance of the owner and his crew who already sailed this vessel around the world. It is always an adventure when the crew sets sail with the help of their guests and when the proud barque begins to move through the water.
Bordeaux France Comfort Class Boat Cruising along the Garonne and Dordogne rivers, the Bordeaux offers an escape through this enchanting wine country in the southwest region of France.
Caique Mariagiovanna Italy Comfort Class Boat The Mariagiovanna is a caique, a traditional Turkish vessel built with mahogany wood. It has all the functionality of a modern boat but the antique charm of an “ancient vessel”.
Caprice France Comfort Class Boat The Caprice is a beautiful Dutch boat that has been in operation since 2009. Its freshly varnished wood and bright colors will welcome you. The large sun deck is inviting from where there can be nothing better than to sit comfortably while cruising the canals of France.
Feniks Belgium, Netherlands, France Comfort Class Boat Originally, the Feniks was built in 1928 as a freighter on the Dutch, Belgium and French inland waters. In 1992, the Feniks was converted to a hotel passenger ship and put in service for various sailing holidays. Since then, she has undergone several renovations to keep up-to-date with all modern facilities.
Fleur France, Netherlands Comfort Class Boat The Fleur was first put into service in 2002. The previous owner, had the beautifully-lined barge converted into a comfortable passenger ship, according to her own design. Her female touch is definitely recognizable by the tasteful interior and her sharp eye for detail. The whole barge radiates a homelike atmosphere. In 2018 Steffie Kranz and Evert Jan Muurling, have taken over ownership.
Flying Dutchman Scotland Comfort Class Boat The Flying Dutchman, once a herring logger, was launched in 1903. The conversion to a sailing schooner took place in 2004 and the ship was equipped with 10 small but functionally furnished cabins, each with a private bath and all in one shower. The front saloon in the deckhouse serves as a cozy dining room and lounge with upholstered benches for seating all guests. At the stern, you can sit beside Captain Klaas at the wheel and perhaps even steer the 39-m-long vessel for a while.
Kapetan Jure Croatia Comfort Class Boat Captain Anton and his crew form an experienced and friendly team, who know how to pamper their guests with delicious specialities. With its 15 cabins, the Kapetan Jure offers place for 30 guests. 11 of the cabins are on deck. 10 of these are furnished with 2 beds arranged side by side, while one cabin has bunk beds.The remaining 4 cabins are below deck and are furnished with a French bed (140 cm wide).
L’Estello France Comfort Class Boat L'Estello was built in 1937. It is a classic Dutch passenger barge that has been converted to today's standards of comfort. The boat measures 39 meters long and 5.2 meters wide. The inviting atmosphere on board will make you feel immediately comfortable. The large lounge area has large picture windows with plenty of natural light. French doors give access to the inviting sun deck. The dining area has large windows and comfortable seating and the living room and bar area is spacious and air conditioned with comfortable sofas chairs.
Leafde Fan Fryslân Netherlands Comfort Class Boat The Leafde Fan Fryslân is an imposing, three-masted barquentine, managed by its owner/operators, Joris and Rinske de Wit, who bring years of maritime experience. The ship has 13 well-appointed cabins, ten twin cabins, 1 smaller twin cabin, 1 junior suite, and 1 single cabin.
Linda Croatia Comfort Class Boat The ship is a spacious wooden motor yacht. At 31 meters long and 6 meters wide, the MS Linda is among the bigger ships in the Croatian fleet. The large common area can accommodate 32 guests and the middle sundeck is constructed in a way that allows for outdoor dining.
Mecklenburg Netherlands, Belgium Comfort Class Boat Navigating the rivers and channels of Belgium, the Mecklenburg is a comfortable river boat with an inviting atmosphere. First built in 1957 in Belgium, it was rebuilt in 2000. You can enjoy the passing scenery from the partially shaded sun deck with chairs and tables. The salon, with large panoramic windows and comfortable couches, is the perfect place to enjoy a meal and drink. There are eleven twin cabins on board with friendly staff to cater to your needs.
Normandie Austria, Hungary, Germany, Slovakia Comfort Class Boat New bicycles for the 2019 season Last refurbished in 2011, the Normandie has a total of forty-nine 2-bed cabins and two single cabins with one bed. The cabins are equipped with two lower beds, shower / toilet, shampoo and soap, TV, safe, hairdryer, central air conditioning and panoramic windows. The windows on the upper deck can be opened. The beds during the day turn into sofas. The 1-bed cabins have a lower bed. On the upper deck you will find the cozy Panorama Lounge with bar and on the main deck, a lovely restaurant.
Panagiota Greece Comfort Class Boat The Panagiota is an affectionately restored two-masted motor yacht, 19 ft. wide and 75 ft. long. It was built in 1990 and modernized in 2001 in conformity with the requirements of cruises.
Patria Germany Comfort Class Boat The MS Patria is a cozy river ship with restaurant, saloon, and sun deck. It is 68 meters long, approximately 8 meters wide, and can accommodate 68 guests. The upper deck in the front of the ship has a beautiful lounge and bar with big windows, as well as a separate restaurant area on the lower deck. The boat also has a partially covered sun deck for relaxation. The guest cabins are each 7 square meters.
Princess Germany, Poland Comfort Class Boat The comfortable Ms Princess, due to its size, is the ideal boat for cruises on the Oder River. It has a brightly decorated restaurant and a cozy salon. All cabins are about 10.5 m2 in size, private bathroom with shower, hair dryer, phone, Sat.-TV, safe (available for a fee) and central A/C.
Theodor Körner Austria, Germany Comfort Class Boat The MS THEODOR KÖRNER is a very spacious ship known for its comfortable and nostalgic atmosphere. The guest is treated like a king with the crew members doing their best to fulfill every wish
Vita Pugna Italy Comfort Class Boat The Vita Pugna is a romantic Dutch barge which has been sailing since 2008. She has 21 guests cabins with comfortable low twin beds and en-suite facilities. They also offer the convenience of attractive, traditional portholes, which can be opened for fresh air. The sundeck has plenty of seating where you can enjoy the passing scenery.
Zwaan Belgium, Netherlands Comfort Class Boat Once a cargo boat, the Zwaan (Swan) was completely renovated and converted into a comfortable passenger barge. On board you will find seven comfortable cabins allowing a total capacity of 16 passengers.
Zwaantje France, Netherlands, Belgium Comfort Class Boat The MPS Zwaantje, which means "Little Swaan", is a wonderful comfort plus barge. The boat has 10 cabins with twin beds and 2 cabins with double beds. A nice and cozy salon with heating, air conditioning, large panoramic windows, a restaurant area, lounge corner and a small bar are on the upper deck.
