It was a tough ride, all of the hills was another level. Only take this ride if you are aware that most of the ride is on local roads, with some traffic, and riding up and down hills continually every day. Be careful to conserve your battery, as riding uphill with no power assist is not a good experience (Our story, 2km uphill ride Day 1 into Radda!!) Each night's accommodation was a treat as these towns was especially chosen for us experience the history of Tuscany. So rich in history.

We booked this trip for September, 2023 and had numerous issues with this company. We are experienced cyclists both on regular and e-bikes, and have cycled in Europe previously. With Tripsite, on the first day, the bikes were delivered to us without helmets and even without a seat. On Cycling Day 1, one of the apps on our phones was blank and it took a while to get that reinstalled. Halfway through the route, we found ourselves stuck on the side of the road, as our bikes no longer had a charge. They were transported to our final destination for the day by van/shuttle. On Cycling Day 2, only one of the two chargers was working, so one bike was still dead. We used the only working charger to charge the second bike - which takes 3-4 hours. After an obviously late start, again the bikes were just not what was needed for this route. It is not "Easy-Moderate" as stated and we found ourselves pushing very heavy bikes up very steep hills. What a wonderful surprise! Exceeded our expectations. Itinerary and equipment was amazing. The routes were very interesting and off the main roads. Accommodation was very well located and always very clean and comfortable. Will definitely book another trip!

The routes were good and the right length each day. I would have like to have received the route information details in advance as requested so that stops could have been planned. We received the route details only a few days prior to the trip. In addition the GSP provides was somewhat difficult to use and didn’t always provide good directions. Ended up using my cellphone GSP which provided better directions. Without the cellphone we would have wasted much more time with the GPS provided. Upgrading to a newer GPS is needed.
