Beautiful countryside, saw so much beauty and the staff on the boat were lovely snd made us very comfortable.

Everything about our trip was fantastic. The bikes were brand new. The crew as superb. The food was excellent. The boat was delightful. Our fellow trip participants were a delight. We are so glad we chose to go on this trip.

I especially liked the ability to bike through farmlands, quaint country villages, vineyards, apple orchards and see old castles, church spires, rolling hills in the background and of course, the beautiful Danube river was always on our side. Most of all though, was the chance to visit Bratislava, Budapest, Vienna and Munich on foot and enjoy the different food offerings and beers!
We did do the excursion into Budapest at night and that was fabulous. Seeing the three bridges all lit up and riding around Pest after having goulash and watching the dinner show of dancers and musicians was lovely, I'd do it all over again!

Very well organized. Friendly and attentive staff. My brother and I had such a great time. The weather was mostly great, and even when it rained on us, it didn't matter. We were weather-proofed and active, so kept warm. We got a little tired mid-week, after doing 40 mile rides, so were thinking that planning an easier day mid-week or doing something else off-bike would help with the muscle recovery. We rode regular bikes, so the e-bike people may not have the same comment. You are always welcome to stay on the boat or do the shorter routes, but we wanted to see it all!

One inconvenience with the trip is when you could and couldn't use credit cards on the boat. It was inconsistent. We found ourselves short of Euros because they wouldn't accept credit cards when my brother wanted to rent an e-bike for a couple days . . . but you could use your credit card to buy drink cards! Go figure.

Our Italian chef Irena made the best food that we had on the whole trip.and Italian steward Deanna Selected the wines. Both were so gracious and professional are afternoons and evenings were made perfect. The itineraries were perfect such beautiful small villages add scenery. The bikes were much better than we expected. Definitely go electric. Our boat the Estella was very nice.

Riding through the tulip fields, visiting the huge Tulip Garden and the Flower Auction. All amazing!

Loved every day of the bike rides, especially through natural areas including the tulip and hyacinth fields, the dunes, wooded areas, and of course to Keukenhof Gardens

The boat, guides, bikes, and routes of the trip were awesome! I certainly did not want the riding to end. If I had to pick anything that I would change it would be that the food was a little "lite". When I am riding up to 35 miles a day, I need something a little more substantial for breakfast and dinner.
Joan and Betina were amazing and went above and beyond the whole trip.

The most memorable part of the trip was riding our bikes through the tulip fields. Bettina was our guide that day and she made sure that we could stop and see all of the lovely tulip fields. Another really amazing part of the trip was to the Flower Auction (Flora Holland). I had never seen anything like that. I would absolutely recommend this as part of any future trips to the Netherlands. I have been to the Keukenhoff two times before and am always impressed with the floral displays on the grounds there. The food on this trip was pretty good but it was definitely not the highlight of the trip. The boat was very clean but even the upstairs rooms were pretty compact. Towel bar warmers in the bathrooms would habe been a nice touch, as they tend to help with drying laundry that has been handwashed.

I loved the upclose feeling to nature that being on a bike offers.

The staff on board our barge/boat were wonderful. Hard-working, accommodating and very friendly and tending to all our needs.

Great experience and crew made our stay amazing! The rooms were larger than expected and meals were great.

The barge (Magnifique IV) was so clean and felt very new. The rooms snd common space were great. We had a suite which had 2 double beds pushed together, a small sitting area and a nice bathroom. The food was excellent and the bike riding was easy or hard depending on if you put the e bike on. I recommend an e-bike because the regular bike is the same without the battery. Our guides were really informative and took us through beautiful countryside. We loved the trip.

As with any trip of this type, the people make all the difference. The crew of the Magnifique IV were fantastic. The bike guides were all that we could have hoped for. Hans and Thomas guided us masterfully. We had a good comfortable pace, they were knowledgeable, fun, patient, protective, professional and happy. Boat crew was on point. The food was excellent and the boat was first class nice. Everything was 5 star good. The sights were well chosen and really interesting. Tulips were amazing. Keukenhof was my highlight followed closely by the incredible flower market auction area. Loved biking through the neat as a pin small towns and the beautiful countryside.

Excellent boat, service, food, staff, etc. - However, the biking had too many dangerous spots. It wasn't all "idyllic"as promoted on your site.

Of course the tulips, daffodils, and hyacinths were beautiful and we picked a good time to go. We had good sunny weather, we were lucky with that. The Keukenhof gardens were well worth the stop. Our group of 8 were very impressed with the food and the staff were great.

This was a fantastic trip. The crew was excellent, the food was truly gourmet and the bike rides and guides made every day a fun adventure. I would recommend to anyone.

Our chef Peter was AMAZING, as well as the entire crew! Never have I been on a tour with such an incredible delightful crew so willing to assist. WOW!

Everything was, well, just perfect! The schooner was so clean, and the Captain was a true joy to be around. All of the crew bent over backwards to please and make sure that I had the grandest time ever. And believe me, I did! My biking adventure came to life with Tom and Hilda at the lead. Such a memorable trip!

Loved it all! The crew was wonderful, food excellent, biking experience great, overall would highly recommend. Other than the cold weather I wouldn’t change a thing.
Only suggestion- a little better communication on the rides. Sometimes difficult to hear & see.

Tour guides were great. We enjoyed the experience very much. This year, the timing was a little early as the the flowers in the fields were not fully in bloom yet, but it was fun to see the beautiful countryside.

The food on the boat could be improved.

The Merljin is a beautiful and classy barge. The staff are first rate and the food very special. Our guide Tammy was superb and the other members of our group all terrific. This goes down as a "one of best" vacations ever. We learned so much about the Netherlands, the culture, history, and resources. And, of course the flowers along the way were amazing!

Our experience on the Merlijn was outstanding! Captain Coen and chef Cristina own the boat, and their pride of ownership made this our favorite (of three) Tripsite bike and boat vacations. They made us feel like we were guests in their home. (It is their home, actually). The high quality bikes, remodeled cabins, and delicious meals had our group of 24 guests singing their praises. We had wonderful rides through towns, neighborhoods, past windmills and farms. The crescendo was seeing the vast fields of flowers and the famous Keukenhof Gardens. I just can’t say enough about this amazing trip.

We loved going to the Keukenhof. Joan and Bettina were excellent leaders, kept us well informed of the day's activities. Very helpful when any problems occured. Excellent meals on this trip. Our chef was superb. Our tour of FloraHolland was very good and worthwhile.

This trip was absolutely amazing. The rides were so much fun, especially with the guides (Corrie and Jeroen) who had so much energy and were just great company. I was also pleasently surprised by how comfortable the rooms were. Since it is a boat I was expecting them to be a lot tighter, but my husband and I were very comfortable. We were also in awe about the food served in the boat, the chef Sidi made delicious dishes all presented incredibly well. It honestly felt like a fine dinning experience.
We've been recomending this trip to everyone we know!

Being able to see the country side at a leisurely pace with our friends. Stopped to visit the goats and trail side coffee shops. One of the most memorable of any of our trips was the boat leaving Budapest at night. A sight we will never forget. Food on board was very good and service was great. The only issue we had was we were a large group of 18 that sat at 3 tables and we were asked to not change places but we missed out visiting with our other friends. We liked it so much we came home and booked another trip with Tripsite

This was our first boat and bike experience and we absolutely loved the whole experience! It’s the best way to see intimate details of a country, especially off the beaten path non touristy locations only accessible by boat in Kvarner Bay. The Linda is a very charming older boat and maybe not as fancy as some other boat options but it was very comfortable and we feel gave a more authentic liveaboard experience. The boat staff and bike guides were incredible!!!!! Because of the higher difficulty level (moderate to difficult) of this particular trip it seems to draw a more vibrant, adventurous and fun spirited cyclists! We had a blast with all passengers aboard! Made new friendships from around the world! As novice cyclers, we thankfully chose to ride E-bikes, as there are many long steep climbs that we pretty much breezed up them. Half our group, which are very experienced mountain bikers, rode traditional bikes and they got a workout for sure but they welcomed the challenge. All the meals aboard were wonderful and served family style. Early fall is the ideal cycling temperature and we found the water still plenty warm for swimming. Can’t wait to do another boat and bike trip!
