Danube Bike Path - Regensburg to Passau Tour Reviews — 1 to 2 of 2

Great scenery, lovely accommodation, mostly easy and pleasant riding.

Suggest - check the status of construction along the river. We had one posted detour and one not posted. Without our own maps, we would have been a long way off course.
- check your bicycle carefully. My seat bolt was stripped so the seat went out of adjustment several times each day. As someone accustomed to working on bicycles, it was irritating but a rider not comfortable doing adjustments would have been very uncomfortable

The 3 day tour was a great introduction to bicycle touring. Day 3 was the most memorable day as most of the path was next to the river riding into Passau. Next time I would consider an E bike to make sure I had enough energy for sightseeing at the end of the day.
Hotel stays were comfortable and the breakfasts were tasty.
