The hike through the cloud forest with the very knowledgeable guide was amazing, seeing and learning about the wildlife and flora.
The hotel in San Jose (1st & last nights) was marginal compared to the others. The tour information provided while accurate was lacking in detail, particularly concerning transportation between venues. I found all the individual guides for each of the several activities great and very helpful - five stars for the guides!

How did the difficulty level compare to your expectations?
The first day of mountain biking was very, very difficult for us due to the thick and heavy mud. My bike worked well, however the bike provided for my wife had issues & broke mid cycle. The guide was great & loaned his own bike as a replacement. The balance of the trip was much easier!
