I enjoyed the experience of being on the boat and days of cycling. It was a nice size group of 22 so that you could get to know others. The crew were fantastic. We nailed the time of season for the tulips. The parade and gardens were stunning

Visiting The Netherlands with my sister, as well as with the Tripsite founder, Hennie, made the trip extra-special. Hennie and her team shared many details of the areas we traveled through, which was greatly appreciated. The weather was perfect for cycling and sailing, both of which were enjoyed very much. The flowers are not to be missed: the flower parade - Keukenhof Gardens - acres of color throughout the countryside. The villages we passed through were lovely, as were the people we met. It was all wonderful! Thank you!

How did the difficulty level compare to your expectations?
Since I am a novice cyclist, the difficulty that I experienced was on me...I was surprised at how heavy the e-bike was and I think it got easier to handle the more I rode. In spite of that, I really enjoyed the ride!

I’m a senior solo traveler and I found the group so warm and welcoming, even giving me a wonderful party with all the frills on my ‘special birthday’. The added bonus was having Hennie with us, telling us all kinds of wonderful stories about life and traditions in the Netherlands.
Our biking leader seemed always in a rush to get to the next stop. It would have been nice to enjoy the beauty of life in the many small towns we passed through or to learn a little about them. On the other bike trips I’ve taken the leader was also a guide ready to share lots of local information.

How did the difficulty level compare to your expectations?
The only difficult part was the fact that we were such a large group. Our line stretched far, sometimes making turns questionable. Our ‘sweep’ was the kindest man alive!

Keukenhof is always a favorite. This is my second visit there, but loved it just as much the second time.

Another highlight was getting to know the friendly staff on the boat. They were so nice to us.

My most memorable part of the trip was the honor of going with Hennie. We had a fabulous time together and I especially enjoyed visiting her family and learn about where she grew up in Barneveld. Thank you for inviting me on this amazing trip.

I loved the diversity of the bike rides: We rode through beautiful countryside passing sheep and cows, on top of dikes by the water, and through charming towns and cities. The beds on the boats were very comfy and the food was terrific. I returned home feeling refreshed.

When did you take this tour?
april 2026 Only frustration was that daily we would pack a lunch and then midday we would stop at a cafe where we were told it was offensive to eat our packed lunches. I would have preferred to be told that we would be in charge of buying a cafe lunch daily, and that snacks would be provided.
How did the difficulty level compare to your expectations?
My first time on an electric bike and so it was easy, just as advertised. I am a regular and confident bike rider. I think there should be some way to say that though the level of riding is easy, but familiarity with bike riding is important. Some of the tour were fit but struggled with basics of bike riding especially in city setting.

Wonderful trip despite a couple alterations to the itinerary. This was our second trip booked with Tripsite and we would highly recommend to anyone.
