I did the Segovia solo tour in October this year 2024. The weather was a lot colder than I had expected. It was 40 degrees F, raining hard and windy at the start of the tour. It warmed up as I went through the week to high 50's. I started in Segovia and loved the town and scenery. The roads were mainly quiet, country roads with beautiful views. Finding somewhere to have lunch was often a challenge as I cycled through the sleepy empty towns. The hotels I stayed at were mainly quaint and memorable all but one in Sepulveda called Arco. The hotel had treated the wood on the ceiling in the room with a product that smelt like mothballs and it was overwhelming to the point I got a sore throat and had to sleep with the door to he balcony open all night to avoid the toxic fumes.

The delivery of my suitcase from one hotel to the next went smoothly and the e bike, GPS and helmet were great.

I loved the routes and would highly recommend this tour.

Being a vegetarian it was often difficult to find enough to eat in this part of Spain as their main dishes in this region are pork and lamb.

But overall I loved the trip and would use Tripsite again for another cycling tour in the future.
