My husband and I joined a group of 10 other friends for this tour, and we all had such a great experience. It exceeded our expectations at every turn. It was the perfect mix of activity (the bike rides, the city tours, the swimming), social events (meals on and off the boat), and relaxation (reading, napping, watching the landscape go by as we navigated to the next island.) Our guides were attentive, knowledgeable, authoritative, and fun. We had a fantastic time!

We love pulling into the quiet harbors on the islands and setting off on our bikes. We loved the informative talks by our guides and the swims off the back of the boat. Good balance of exercise, rest and social time.

The absolute highlight of the trip were the amazing bike rides. The tour guides, Marko, Marin and Mirta, were knowledgeable and fun! Our first time on eBikes! It made the bicycling effortless and we could completely take in all the sites. The entire trip was very well organized with hiking, biking and swimming most days (a triathlon!) Also, the scheduled tours on various islands were fantastic. The boat and crew were first class, very kind and accommodating. Croatia and it’s beautiful islands should be a must for everyone to see and experience via bikes and boats. Highly recommend this tour!

The family that owns and operates the Papa Prvi was wonderful. The were very responsive to any issues that came up such as a stuck door or broken toilet seat and special dietary requests were always met. The tour was great and the Croatian scenery stunning. Prepare for hills! Both up and downhill can be a bit challenging at times. Take it all in and enjoy the experience.

Getting up every morning to a delicious breakfast buffet on the boat, followed by a scenic and exhilarating bicycle ride through gorgeous countryside was fabulous. The locations chosen were ideal. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. I’d book another bicycle trip in a heartbeat. It’s best to read about the terrain and difficulty level of the rides before you go and train accordingly. Best trip ever!!

Kvarner Bay tour from Omisalj. Wonderful memories aboard The Linda. The crew, our knowledgeable and every language speaking tour guides Ana and Kristofor, the food, the sites, the wonderful passengers we met from around the world. The weather was in our favor and the crew adapted to make sure our experience was safe and that we could ride our bikes as much as possible without too much of a rough ride on the seas. The Pape Privi and her crew (all family) were wonderful. Rooms were spacious and meals were delicious.
I would definitely change the rating to difficult! There was nothing moderate about the hills of Croatia!
The overall experience would have been better if they had grouped the rides separating the regular bikes and e-bikes. There was a little too much waiting for everyone to be together.

The ship and the food were a very favorable part of the trip, lovely.

The bike tours were boring and ill described by the guide. Less farmland and more quaint villages would have met our expectations. The last day was the best.

Vienna and Budapest were definite highlights as well as the bike ride from Krems to Melk which was fabulous!

The beautiful water of the Adriatic Sea and the beautiful coastal views. Food on board was exceptional and bikes were excellent. I would suggest e-bikes for those shy of hills as there are a few tough climbs. Also bring water shoes as the beaches are more rock/pebbles. Kuna is most easily acceptable currency so have lots on hand

It was amazing! The most memorable part was the people! The crew of the Pape Prvi were personable, friendly , professional...a complete joy! The guides were the same; very enthusiastic, engaging and fun. The food was delicious. The cycling was more challenging than I expected. Many big climbs and steep, steep downhill runs. The scenery was indescribably beautiful...coastal beaches with clear turquoise water, grape vineyards, fig and pomegranite trees...

Suggestions for others: train on hills if possible!

The cycling was fantastic! The beauty of the towns along the Danube and the chance to get a closer look with the ability to stop to rest, shop or taste wine or beer at will was just phenomenal! The food on board was so good, and the staff was very welcoming.

This was the best river cruise we’ve been on. We were longing for something more active & this cruise was perfect. Cycling along the Danube was unforgettable & everything we imagined..stopping in the beautiful little towns, meeting friendly people, experiencing the food & drinks along the way. The Swiss Crown ship & staff were an added bonus! Thank you! We can’t wait to come back

Notre croisière sur le Mélody a été incroyable : le bateau est très beau et très bien équipé. Le service à table, les repas, l’entretien des cabines impeccables et surtout l’accueil du personnel avec une mention spéciale pour Dora et Tara, nos deux animatrices guides. Et nous avons fait connaissance avec des passagers de toutes nationalités, des gens formidables avec qui nous avons passé des moments mémorables. L’un de nos meilleurs voyages. Et en plus on a amélioré notre anglais !

The trip provided an excellent introduction to the countries and cities visited - the bike tour guide, and some of the extra options, we’re very worthwhile. However communication between Tripsite and the contractor, Rad and Reissen, was poor and marked by numerous breakdowns. Most significant was that the Covid protocol we were told would be followed wasn’t, at all, and several people, including both of us, contracted Covid during the trip. Between us we missed seven days of activities while confined to our cabin.

The guides, Senad and Martin, were fabulous. The Romantica crew we’re also excellent. Meals were great. Cycling was generally good, although there was one day where the roads were a bit busy and there was really no scenery to make it worthwhile.
The Romantica is an older boat, and some of the mattresses and pillows are much too soft. The other thing is that there is no soap or shampoo supplied for the shower. Supplying that wouldn’t cost much and would go a long way to increase satisfaction.

The itinerary is fantastic. The boat crew was excellent with food and service beyond what was expected. An E bike is very helpful as there are several long steep hills with 10 degree slope. The outdoor seating on this boat wasn’t great but everything else makes up for this.

Absolutely the most fabulous trip we have ever been on. We enjoyed biking the trails, seeing the National Parks, making our way through the small towns and seaside villages and our guided tours. The views are stunning. The Croatian people are kind, friendly and very hospitable. Our guides were amazing, delightful, knowledgeable, thoughtful and entertaining!
