It's too hard to pick one thing as most memorable. Everything was amazing. Our guides were so fabulous. Ivan and Ana were so knowledgeable and also so fun. I can't say enough good things about them. They made sure to take great care of us. The e-bikes were always ready to go. The biking was the best. Views that were unbelievable with the crystal clear blue water and the landscape with the lush vegetation. I would highly recommend this trip.

Bike Tour - Irreplaceable! By far the bike riding was the meat and potatoes of our vacation. The guides (Ivan & Anna) were amazing. The information provided before and during each ride was great, they are pros who know their history and surrounding attractions. I could go on for days about the organization of the rides, the scenery, etc. All in all worth every... single... penny.

Boat - Thankfully not the focus of the trip.

The good - Captain and crew were absolutely pleasant. Swim calls, politeness, all above par.

The bad - The food is probably average. When they ask about food allergies they also mean preferences. If you don't like seafood you better say so. Unlimited water but small bottled water ran out on about Day 3. Alcohol? Half the drinks could not be made because they either didn't have or did not restock choices during our many port visits. From what we understand our trip was the last of the season so not really a huge vibe to please. The bartender was a late fill and the enthusiasm of her being there was about a two. From what I understand bar bill goes to the Captain and he lost out on a pretty hefty payday because of the lack of alcohol or the bar simply not being open when we were all onboard and she was not around.

All in all we would do another bike trip, we only hope that our time next on the boat will be better.

Crotia was never on our destination list but when good friends of ours mentioned, we jumped at the chance. Ultimately, we went with 16 couples for the Bike and Barge trip. The tour guides were extremely knowledgeable with the area geographically and also the history. Coordinating a group our size was no small task and Evan and Anna handled it brilliantly. We went on a boat named Harmonia which had nice accommodations, especially the top sun deck. The bedding and towels could use a bit of any upgrade. The crew on the Harmonia were very helpful but I do believe the sole server that had to also be the bar tender was a bit overwhelmed. We were a group that liked our beverages and she was not always the most friendly and sometimes made us feel as if we were bothering her. Since returning, home several people have asked if this is a tour I would take again and I most certainly tell them yes. No need to be intimated about the amount of biking as the ebikes were more than capable of assisting with the most challenging climbs. Next time, I would stay an extra day in Dubrovnik and enjoy the beautiful city.

The crew, the food, the rooms and our outstanding tour guides, Ivan and Mário made our trip aboard the Harmonia the perfect choice to celebrate my sister's 60th birthday. The route through southern Dalmatia is magnificent. We visited islands of great beauty, not only for the landscape, but also for its history. Just a word of advice: unless you're a pro, the e-bike is a must for you to enjoy the islands' long hills without wearing out. I strongly recommend the trip.

Biking on charming country roads while enjoying beautiful scenery through small ports and towns on the Dalmatian Islands. Swimming in the turquoise-colored water of the Adriatic Sea.
Bring swim shoes or water resistant sandals to allow for walking on rocky beaches.

What wasn't to like. Beautiful locations, really nice clean accommodations, friendly and knowledgeable staff, wonderful food, great e-bike tours and a wonderful boat ride. I was sold when I read prior reviews and they were right, I would totally recommend this trip

The friendships we made with others on the boat stands out as most memorable. We had such a great time. The boat and bike tours was such a beautiful way to see Croatia which absolutely blew us away with it's beauty, history and culture. The food on the boat was amazing and the crew made us all feel so welcome and cared for. The bike tour guides were so fun and gave us great information about each ride so we were prepared for each day. I can't say enough good things about the trip! The one tip I would add to your information sheets would be to bring a beach towel for the many swims.

It is hard to pick one most memorable part of the trip as we loved the whole entire trip. The staff on the boat was incredible, the food was great, the cleanliness of the boat was exceptional and the guides on the boat were fantastic. There is nothing that I would have changed.

The mountain views surrounded by the sea were incredible. Each harbor had its own character and it was great to have time to explore on our own and also to find the local swimming spots to cool off. The meals were also great and well prepared.

We loved the small villages/harbors. They all seemed like out of a movie. Beautiful scenery everywhere you looked. The “E” bike are the way to go. We loved em. Dora & Mario we’re fantastic.
The trip was exceptional. If your looking for small improvements. The dining room was mostly hot and difficult to hear.

This was truly the most fantastic vacations we have ever had. The whole experience was a delight. The boat, the crew, our exceptional guides Eddie and Luca were top notch. The food was delicious and the portions generous.
The ebikes were great and the tour pushed our limits but was never too strenuous. The islands we visited were magnificent and we learned so much about the history of Croatia.

We rode from Dubrovnik to Split stopping at 5 islands. Only 22 people on our trip but most agreed Stari Grad on the Island of Hvar was our favorite. Eddie & Lukas were our guides. They were so much fun. They would take turns who would lead and who would sweep. Telling stories and the history of each locale. We would stop for a water, wine or beer along our route, taking in breathtaking views. The crew on the Harmonia Boat were friendly taking time to chat but focusing on their chores and responsibilities. I watched in amazement how the Captain maneuvered the boat to dock or tie up to adjoining boats each day. With precision we sailed and docked with effortless seamanship.
At the end of each day we would all dine on board Harmonia and talk about each days adventure. If you are thinking of taking this trip go for it. You will not be disappointed. And should be lucky enough to have Eddie and Lukas as your guides, you're in for treat.

Our trip with island hopping.com with Luka and Eddie was really great. No real signs of negativity and always a push to think out of the box. The accommodations were fine, and the food was very good with lots of variety. Nina our host was friendly and always willing to pour that glass of wine. I wish our boat could have spent a few nights in a cove instead of the port as to encounter less people and more nature. Otherwise I enjoyed the multiple swimming opportunities and relaxing on the boat. The bike routes were fantastic with the best amount of challenge and not too much. I just loved biking everyday but also appreciated the opportunity for some to stay back if they wanted.

Learnt how to use an e bike effectively while seeing some amazing landscapes as well as sea scapes.

This was a wonderful trip! The boat, the Harmonia, was comfortable and just the right size. It was amazing to sail to the islands along the Dalamatian Coast and then to bike ride through the mountains. Although we had E-bikes, the hills were strenuous as they were long, with switch-backs, and going downhill was a bit scary as the grade was steep and there were rarely guard rails. We loved biked through the small villages, stopping for coffee or a swim, the Adriatic is clear, warm and wonderful. The food and service on board were great and our guides enthusiastic. We had a wonderful time.

The guides. Aleksa and Kruscho were exceptional. .Diocletian’s palace was stunning.

Our guides, Kesho and Aleksa, were top notch, adjusting plans on the fly to make sure we avoided the bad weather and giving us the best biking on some beautiful islands. The ebikes were much appreciated. They meant we could set our level of exertion and enjoy our surroundings. It is notable that the two people in our group who braved human powered bikes switched to ebikes after day 1 (and were lucky they were able to do that).

Our guides were wonderful. Very professional and kind. Due to weather issues ride adjustments had to be made quickly and routes changed. Everything was done smoothly
The ship was comfortable and the service and food was excellent.

The islands provided absolutely majestic views all of the time! Our guides were fabulous and fun. We loved our two nights getting to dine in towns on the tour and really experience the local atmosphere. With E bikes the tour said trip was easy to moderate, we found it easy most days, moderate two days. We had great comradery on our boat, it was so fun getting to know everyone.

Great tour guides & staff, beautiful scenery & a wonderful ship. Entire trip exceeded our expectations. Definitely ebike and go on the provided guided tours.

This is our 6th bike and boat tour via Tripsite. Every trip has been it’s own unique experience. We booked for the ship Harmonia 2 1/2 years ago to bike in Croatia and finally got to go. The ship was very comfortable.
We biked through vineyards and olive trees. We made 30 new friends.

This was my first experience with Tripsite and from beginning to end I was grateful to have booked the trip with them. There are so many options for booking these bike trips, some much more high-end. Yet, the boat, the staff, the food, the fun, and the beauty were all pretty exceptional. I would add that the administrative staff, Anna and Carla, was such a great pleasure to work with, accommodating me at the last minute to make this trip happen. Our tour guide, Ivan, was also exceptional, taking charge in a low-key, competent way with great humor and sensitivity to all of our needs. The most memorable aspect of this trip is the sheer beauty of these islands providing daily exhilaration biking from one to another. Croatia and Tripsite is a pretty great combination. My first but not last time with Tripsite.

Boating on the Harmonia and biking on six islands (Dalmatia) was magic! The natural beauty of the islands and the sea combined with the tours of the islands provided great adventure for each day. Appreciated our outstanding tour guides (Mikhail & Carlos) who were passionate & knowledgeable about their country and shared this in an informative, fun manner. They set a "comfortable" tone on the trip and were always willing to help in any way possible. Bar manager/kitchen supervisor was excellent and friendly too. Delicious food. Enjoyed meeting the captain and the other crew members. It was great boating and very interesting docking at each of the islands-appreciated the skills of the captain & crew. Thank you for a memorable trip!

My husband and I took this tour Oct 6-13. We are fit 60 year olds who were advised to go with the e-bikes and were happy we did. The mountain climbs can be 10 km long, getting steeper with each turn. We only used the gears when we needed but often rode in eco(the minimum assistance) or with the battery off. Never did we regret the ebike choice as some hybrid bikers in our group found the climbs unenjoyable and walked their bikes up hills at times. The guides Carlos and Michael were funny, informative and great company! The food was local cuisine and always plentiful. Our cabin on the main level was cozy and there was always lots of hot water for showers. Monika was tireless and always on hand at the bar and to serve meals. The scenery was spectacular. Loved the city tours of Split and Dubrovnik as well as Korcula. This is our second Tripsite bike and boat and their handling of the details was seamless. Croatia should be on everyone’s list of countries to see and the bike and boat option is amazing. We had a great group of 31 participants, plenty of laughs, swims in the Adriatic Sea and downtime to sun on the deck. We loved the entire adventure.
