The mountain rides and time next to the Rur River were absolutely amazing! Even during an unexpected heatwave we found relief in the shady mountains and cool river.

This trip was fantastic, riding along beautiful coastlines, through forests and agricultural areas and small towns. Accommodations were excellent! We did the 13 day trip but stayed an extra night in two places to break up the ride and do a little more exploring, which I recommend. The local team were very supportive. We used e-bikes and they were in very good condition. Highly recommend this trip!

· Prague to Dresden - A Tale of Two Rivers
This was a great tour. We really enjoyed the trip. We are a fit couple in our 60's and this was our first bike tour. While the milage may sound daunting--averaging closer to 30 miles per day-- the ride is genreally flat and on well maintained bike paths. There are some hills and we had to walk the bikes now and again, but ultimately the ride was very do-able.
In general, expect to spend about 4 hours in the saddle each day.
The day in Hřensko was a real highlight, a short ride to get there, and a great hike in the national park.
Pirna, outside of Dresden, is a lovely small town--worth spending much of the day in, even if it means arriving in Dresden a bit late.
Tripsite did a great job helping us through the initial booking and answering questions before we started our ride.
This was a really fun and beautiful way to see small towns through the Elbe river valley, a chance to slow down and see ap a part of the world the many people just zoom past on the train.

The cycling infrastructure was fabulous. It was lovely to be able to ride through differing landscapes, not only along the coastline but further inland where we could enjoy the farms and their beautiful gardens and canals. We upgraded our accommodations and they were beautiful, particularly our hotel in Gouda. Our e-bikes were also a lot of fun. In the past, we usually chose to ride with normal bikes, but the e-bikes allowed us to get to our destination earlier so that we could explore. This is our fourth tour with Tripsite and we love planning with them as they are always very supportive and flexible. Thank you for an amazing trip.

· Denmark’s South Funen Archipelago
I especially liked having a second day at a resort so that you could take a look around a place and explore islands. It still meant that you had plenty of time cycling while you looked around.
The journey from Faaborg to Svendborg by ferry was very good as you cycled the island of Aero from port to port. It was a pity you only got one night in Nyborg as it would have been great to cycle the Great Belt Bridge.
On the downside you were given a map to find your way. Through a city at the start? Your mobile phone was a much better option but you need a phone holder which is not supplied. In fact it was the third day before all the things that were supposed to be supplied were made available. The bike itself was a heavy German mountain bike so not up to date and not the most suitable for the flat terrain but it was in full working order.
All the hotels were good but Nyborg Strand and Best Western Hotel Faaborg were excellent.
The weather was really good with blue skies and little cloud. Nice breeze to keep you fresh while cycling and temperatures mid twenties. The heat wave that had been taking temperatures up to the forty mark in Germany and France arrived on the last day so a morning’s travel was best before the high heat arrived. Swiftly followed by thunderstorms.
A great holiday in beautiful Danish coastal countryside despite my issues with the cycle.
Like the rest of Scandinavia it’s not cheap!

· Lake Constance to Interlaken
This tour was spectacular, but yes a bit challenging. Even with e-bikes, there were a few 10% grade climbs that some of us had to walk up. We loved the variation of the routes (quiet roads, bike lanes, gravel/dirt paths) and scenery (lakes, rivers small towns). We especially enjoyed the small towns of Zug and Einsiedeln. The hotels were fine, with excellent breakfasts. You should know that only 2 of the 7 hotels had AC, and of the 5 that didn't, only 2 had fans. This was challenging during a heat wave. I do understand that this is Europe and it wasn't that big a deal. My other feedback is that the GPX routes occasionally did not match the information in the literature given. Day 5 of biking from Einsiedeln to Zug was especially problematic and required some rerouting on our part. Please redo these GPX files.
- When did you take this tour?
- June 2026
- How did the difficulty level compare to your expectations?
- This ride was accurately classified as difficult. Riders should know, that even with e-bikes, there were some hills that exceeded 10% grade that required at least one person in our party to walk.

· Highlights of Northern Zealand
Denmark is a nice country to visit. Most individuals working in the hospitality industry speak English which makes it easy to travel around the country as a tourist. Also, the Danish people are polite and pleasant. The five-day bicycle tour was well-planned with good service at the beginning and the end of the tour. The route was not difficult and not too long. The GPS map on the app made navigation quite easy. The route passed many interesting towns and attractions. The hotels along the route were high-quality hotels. Very nice bicycle trip!
One suggestion to improve the trip would be to select hotels near the center of town instead of away from town. The hotels near Elsingor and Roskilde were 4 km from the center of those towns which made it difficult to eat dinner in those towns. Moreover there were no restaurants or bars near those hotels and, as such, the travelers are compelled to eat at the designated hotels.

- How did the difficulty level compare to your expectations?
- As expected. Not too difficult. GPS map on Pedalo app made navigation easy. However, there were several glitches on the GPS map which should be amended.

This was our 5th Tripsite experience!
We loved Bruges to Amsterdam!
The scenery was great because the bike trails offered that. The people we encountered in Holland & Bruges were all very friendly & informative if we had any questions.
I celebrated my 70th birthday the last day of our trip in Amsterdam! A great way to enter my 70th year! We are looking forward to planning our next trip with Tripsite … they have never failed with any of our beautiful bike trip experiences!

· Flavors of Italy: The Very Best of Emilia-Romagna
We've wanted to do this tour for several years and really happy we did it! Getting to see Emilia Romagna by bike is perfect. The smaller cities like Modena and Parma are great places to stop along the way. In fact we liked them more than Bologna itself. Hotels along the route were overall good. The bikes and assistance between hotels were likewise excellent. The only issue was that the hotel outside of Reggio is really in the middle of nowhere. Nice hotel. Bad location. So if you don't plan ahead, getting dinner or a taxi is very difficult. Some heads up on that would've been appreciated.
If you like riding in the countryside and seeing some of the less "famous" parts of Italy, this is a great tour. Plus the two visits to see Balsamic vinegar being made and the same with Parmigiana Reggiano were really special too.

· Around Lake Constance - 12 Day
Without a doubt, biking around the lake’s scenic beauty was an everyday treat. We met many wonderful and kind people at the hotels, along the way, strangers who treated us as family explaining customs, giving directions, and friendly hospitality.
Helpful hints: learn how to use Komoto gps app, bring a bicycle mirror (almost no one had but it really would have helped in traffic).
The staff of Tripsite were incredible. Before and during the ride, they were supportive, found answers to our questions, and were always eager to find help and get back to us. They were a blessing throughout. Thank you!!!!
- When did you take this tour?
- June 2026
- How did the difficulty level compare to your expectations?
- Physical endurance for me was fine as I had trained riding hilly routes, so cardio was fine. The more difficult part was trying to keep up with the signage for biking paths. Some were painted on the ground, some white signs/green bike, brown signs/ white bike, blue signs, and at times no signs. The good part was that even when we lost track of the path, we were easily able to reroute and find the expected path. Greatest risk: cobblestones are used for curbs and transitions. Be aware that trying to ride up a transitory curb is hazardous if you strike the curb at an angle of less than 30degrees…the edge of the tire catches on the cobblestone. All in all, a great bike ride!!

1st 3 days really great cycling, quiet and beautiful, but it's hilly if not on an ebike particularly day 2.
Better to visit Neuschwanstein first thing day 4 rather than at the end of a long day 3.
Nearly all of the recommended gasthofs were closed during the day, one looked shut for sometime. Take food and drink with you for lunch, dont rely on finding it en route.
App glitchy in towns navigating to the hotel and when off route.
That said, we really enjoyed this trip.

Loved the Balsamic and Parmesan tours! The rides were lovely, peaceful and scenic and the food and wines were fabulous. We loved our ride and accommodations. The Agriturismo La Razza was especially special. Not to be missed was the Ristorante La Grattugia. The fillet of beef with balsamic was to die for.

We really enjoyed the tour! The countryside, - the river and the entire experience was excellent.
I fell off my bike in one location and then had problems with the brakes on my bike.
The support team was quickly available for us and offered helpful support from a very remote location! This was very much appreciated.
We did a self guided bicycle tour, - using Ride with GPS' and also a paper copy of the directions. Even so, - we experienced some confusion in Bad Schandau.
All in all, - we would highly recommend this tour for all rider abilities.

· Loire Valley - Tours to Angers
This was the second leg of our Loire valley bike ride as we had done Orleans to Tour 2 years ago.
We started in Tour this time and again enjoyed the ease of the electric bikes, which was needed more so on the section especially the last day being the longest. There was an adventure on the last day having to cross the river and put our bikes on a small barge and pull ourselves across... I must admit we definitely needed my friends husband as just 2 females together i don't think we would of managed.
Overall another fabulous trip. I must say the best accommodation was at Chinon. The rooms were huge and Maurice had everything to make you feel at home,we didn't want to leave. Breakfast in the morning was like being king and queen of the castle sitting at a huge fancy dining table so much different to the other generic hotels. We will go back just to stay with him again.

· Albanian Highlights
Cycling in Albania was probably my most favorite trip with Tripsite (this is our fifth). The country and the people were amazing.
We received more pre information than everyone else who didn’t book with Tripsite. Looking back there was some things people have to take into consideration when traveling there. This country is just beginning to develop its tourism as well as leaving behind its communist roots. Some places we stayed were not as nice as other countries we have visited. That said, if you look at the cost to travel within it is truly a win. The electric bikes had issues from time to time but our guide and driver always did repairs or swap out when necessary.
The food was outstanding throughout and the riding although challenging at times, was worth every view. Get some seat time in and go visit a beautiful country before it gets too crowded.
