This was a great trip because of the great guides, great crew, and great cook.

Our ship, Running on Waves could not have been better. The ship was immaculately clean. Our cabin’s, although small, were very comfortable. I would have to say the staff met our every need. The food was amazing, every meal was a variety and extremely well prepared. Due to the closing of the Corinth Canal, our tour had to be modified. I felt that the captain did the best he could to see that we had a great trip. Lena, the cruise Director was sometimes over the top, making sure all of our needs were met. Alex, our bike guide also did a great job.
I would highly recommend this bike tour.

Boat/biking trips are our favorite way to travel and this is our favorite trip ever! The family who crews this boat made our time aboard safe, well organized and full of adventure. The scenery on the islands is stunning! The e-bikes we used were perfect for the terrain and comfortable. Our tour guide kept us safe, informed and entertained. This trip is absolutely deserving of the 5 stars in every category!

Amazing time on San Snova - the boat, the rides, guides Merta and Marko & crew were all amazing! We had a blast with our fellow travelers and were amazed at Chef Luka’s wonderful luncheons and dinners!! Such a wonderful adventure!!

The food served on board was Excellent. The views from on board as we moved between towns was also excellent – far superior to any public ferry or catamaran. The bicycle touring was thoughtfully managed and routed, and very enjoyable. Our state room was very comfortable (up in the bow and far from the engine room), and the common areas were well appointed and fun to hang out in (very "yacht-ty"!). Laundry lines strung along both sides of the boat were invaluable for drying our cycling gear after light laundring/rinsing during the trip.

I can’t stop thinking about this trip — it was just incredible! The crew was amazing, always ready to help and make everything easy and fun. The boat felt cozy, cabins super comfy, and everything was spotless.

We biked every day — anywhere from 20 to 60 km — and the scenery blew me away. Endless olive groves, sparkling blue sea, quiet roads, and secret beaches you couldn’t reach without a bike. Morning yoga on deck was such a nice way to wake up and stretch before hitting the pedals.

And the food… wow! Every meal was different, with plenty of choices between fish and meat, plus fresh fruits, berries, and local treats. I’ll never forget the lamb and langoustines. October was perfect — great weather, beautiful nature, and peaceful towns with almost no tourists. I’d go back in a heartbeat and try more routes! This tour is perfect if you love cycling, exploring, and just enjoying life by the sea.

This trip was outstanding. The boat was very comfortable and well thought out. The owner of the boat and captain, Ante was engaging and informative. The guides,Tara and Ivan were outstanding and did a great job coordinating our bike rides working around the weather. The crew of the boat inclined Rino, Bruna, Tonka, Niksa, Josip, and Alma were all outstanding. I would highly recommend this trip.

Our bike/barge trip surpassed our expectations. The crew was great: the captain, the crew who took care of us on the boat, and our two guides. We really enjoyed the bonus of stopping along the route to see interesting sites or to have a treat and tea in a pretty spot. The Moselle Valley is so beautiful, and in October the colors were unexpectedly beautiful. We would definitely recommend this!

Boat was luxurious, food was excellent and the guides and staff were top notch.

Enjoyed the camaraderie knowledge of the staff. Iris had a wonderful layout but maybe not a round sink in bathroom w faucet in center so when washing your face water goes all over

Everything was as advertised, food, boat, and guides. Eddie & Dominique were attentive and entertaining as they explained each days ride, The food was more than expected from a small gally with only two chefs.

The boat was very nice and cozy. I loved the fact it was ran by a family. The staff were nice and helpful. Nice tour guide also.
What I liked the most was there flexibility of changing our Island hopping according to the weather. We ended up having the best weather possible during our trip ❤️

Hein was an absolutely amazing and interesting guide; the crew was fantastic. Special kudos to the chef (Geovani): best food by far of any of our 3 tripsite boat/bike trips so far. And we LOVED Alicia (our overall helper etc). So personable and friendly and wonderful that she shared her artwork with us! And a great group of fellow travellers/bikers to share this with. Just a fantastic trip!

My trip was Cochem to Metz and it was excellent! The Iris is a beautiful, well furnished barge that had a fabulous welcoming, friendly crew and two fun guides to show us the historical sights along the Moselle River. Extra activities for us were delightful. Fun to be with a smaller group of people on this bike and barge trip. I would definitely go on another excursion!

This was a really great holiday! The people and staff were so nice, the guides were great, the food was amazing and we had really good weather, only one bit of rain!
Lots of people under dressed, for the boat, as it can be windy in the evenings, and many wished they had gloves for the ride.

I really enjoyed the people and exploring a small part of Italy. Our crew was amazing.

The food on the ship was excellent. The islands were a challenge to bike due to the many long hills, but it was worth the effort.

The boat, bikes, routes and crew were all wonderful aboard the Magnifique 1! Everything exceeded our expectations. I would absolutely recommend this trip. In mid-October, we had to wear a few layers most days, but the fall colors were beautiful and we got to experience most things without any crowds.

One highlight was the visit to the old olive press, Muzej Uja, and the delicious meal they served! In general I enjoy bike riding and especially enjoyed the views such as the views on the ride outside of Omis. The food was good, especially the chocolate desserts.

Our guides, Ivar and Martine, did a good job of leading and following up and giving us information about places along the way.

My one complaint is that the dining area is too noisy. I realize there is no way to remedy the noise situation in this size of a boat with the number of people in the dining room.

My recent bike and barge trip "Cochem to Metz" was by far one of the best I have done. The whole process from initial inquiry to disembarkation was handled wonderfully by Trip Site. It so nice be able to speak to a real person whether just calling for information or making sure that the initial booking is in proper order. That process was handled professionally and pleasantly by one Kirsten Hollister. Kirsten was always there to help and advise. I can't thank her enough.
We chose the ship the Iris. Its an intimate barge which holds a maximum of 24 passengers. On our trip there were 19. Our rooms were spacious with two single beds and ample room for storage. The bathroom although small was everything one needed. We were quite comfortable. Above deck there was a spacious lounge and a lovely dining area. Additionally there was seating out of doors on the front deck. Temperatures were a little cool in mid-October so we didn't spend a lot of time there.
The crew consisted of 4: a captain, 1st mate, house keeper and a cook. All were extremely cordial , friendly and professional. The ship ran smoothly. The cook Joost did an excellent job . Cuisine varied from day to day featuring many regional dishes. All delicious. We were well fed. A nice touch were the included wine parings with dinner. It was great sampling the wines for which the Mosel is famous especially after we had cycled past the vineyards from which they were born.
Two guides were there to lead us along the bike paths along the Mosel. We were divided into two groups each with nine or ten. Its was pleasant to be in such smaller groupings. Our guides were experienced, knowledgeable and a whole lot of fun.
I can't say enough about the itinerary. The Mosel is a beautiful meandering river much smaller than the Rhine. Cycling along it was more than enjoyable. The frequent stops whether to have a coffee and pastry or visit a castle were well worth it. We saw and did a lot with memories to last a lifetime.
The itinerary along the Mosel in addition to being intimate and quaint was diverse. The trip begins in charming Cochem with its German heritage and ends in the quintessentially French city of Metz. We did as well venture into tiny Luxembourg to taste the local bubbly. Quite delicious. Thus we experienced three countries and we haven't even mentioned the Romans who were there long before the others!
Cochem to Metz is a great tour. I heartily recommend it. It will be one of your favorites, too.

Great crew, fantastic food & sites, and we were able to know everyone on board as there were only 24 guests. we was a great experience and we will do it again.

The trip exceeded my expectations. The staff were wonderful and the meals were amazing.

Great, personable guides on the bike rides & wonderful service & food on the ship. My favorite part was cruising downhill on the windy roads through vineyards & olive orchards toward the river! Highly recommended!

The boat was great, staterooms were very comfortable and the staff all around very friendly, competent and thorough. The food was very good with a nice variety and just the table wine was fine for our taste. The young men running the bike portion were excellent, very friendly and thorough in their planning and communication, with everything executed in a timely manner. They were so kind, funny and personable! The food they provided was very good and everyone enjoyed the rides, which were mostly downhill! Make sure you bring bike gloves!
The only suggestion would be to have better correlation beforehand between the bike rides and boat excursions. It was very confusing when trying to look at both before we arrived and with the boat asking us to sign up for excursions at least 4 days before arrival, it made it hard to see if there were any excursions available to the bike riders. Bottom line is that you can sign up for excursions once you get there, so if you are in a riding group, I would wait until you arrive.
As far as excursions, and I only did a few, they were again well, executed, but on the one to Guimaraes, we did not go in anything, but were given 45 minutes to just walk around. I would have liked to go in a few places with the guide since we had so much time.

The guides were super engaging, and they carefully curated daily trips for our group that reflected our ability level. they also worked really well with the cruise ship to make our experience very special. I'd cycle and cruise with our guide team again, in a heartbeat!
