· Romantic Road & the Bavarian Lakes
The ride was always a. ‘bucket list’ item, & the scenery was outstanding, & the GPS was very beneficial. However, I wouldn’t rate the ride as our best experience, as there were a few disappointments. The Augsburg hotel was not very good. At the outset (day 1) the instructor was briefing a large group of German speaking cyclists, (for ~20 minutes) & advised he’d brief the English speaking cyclists afterwards, but he just came over & said we could start the ride, but we mentioned that we were advised to go to the Dom Hotel for instructions, & he just said - ‘what do you want to know?’, & it was annoying that we had to wait ~1 hour & cycle an additional 2km to get that instruction. Plus, the bikes did not have drink bottle cages, which would have been beneficial. I acknowledge the advice regarding 20kg weight restriction on luggage, & when we left Australia, our (3 pieces) luggage were weighed at the airline checkin at 19kg, 20kg, & 21kg, & we redistributed some luggage to the bike panniers, & then received notices on the end of day1 that out luggage was overweight 1 x 23kg & 1 x 21kg, & that we had to reduce the weight or the luggage would be left behind (we relocated the required amount to my backpack), but I suggest your partner recalibrate their scales (plus it surprises me that 20kg is OK, but 21kg is not). Additionally, we were only provided 2 luggage tags each, so we couldn’t buy another piece of luggage, to redistribute the weight (despite the instructions provided that we’d receive 3 luggage tags each). Additionally, once we arrived at our daily destination, there was no directions given to our accommodation hotel, which resulted in additional cycling (I had to use my Australian iPhone to access GPS, which was costly). Occasionally, there was a few trail signs that conflicted with the GPS, & a couple occasions when the written instructions provided a 3rd point of view.

I think that when delivering the itinerary to the group, Tripsite should do a survey of the stopping points and tourist attractions, as on certain days, the places mentioned are closed!

I loved the trip, it was very well organized, the route was very pleasant and the bikes were good.
One thing to note is that some of the restaurants listed were not open and part of the route was closed due to construction work.

Saint Emillion is an amazing place, no wonder it is an UNESCO World Heritage site. We did a wine tasting at a local Chateau and can highly recommend making time to do this on arrival. Chateau Saint Georges cote Pavie made us very welcome and only cost €18 each for a tour and we tasted 3 wines.

What a trip of a lifetime. We made wonderful memories and saw beautiful country side and the architecture is unreal.
This was a easy bike ride and recommend it to any rider.

Had a wonderful time on the bike trip, it was an excellent way to see the countryside and small towns along the way. The hotels were very nice, right in the center of things. We would certainly do this trip again.
The only issues we had were occasional navigational problems, particularly on the first day, but for the most part the route was easy to follow on dedicated bike paths. Having a data plan for Europe is a must as that can solve a lot of navigation issues.
Overall this was an outstanding experience for us, and it is an excellent way to travel and really get to know the local area.

· Shakespeare Country and the Cotswolds
The ride from Kingham to Stratford on Avon includes a tall hill climb. On the for side are the best views of the countryside, framed by sculpted hedgerows. The downhill fide is visually dramatic, fantastic and well worth the effort.
The negative points: The Bear in Woodstock. The staff was less than accommodating upon our arrival. The village and surrounding area was overwhelmed by a huge car show. So we sat waiting from 1pm, in the courtyard. The staff did not bother to tell us, as we waited in the courtyard, 10 steps outside the office door (which was open). As the room became available, no notice was offered to us. We eventually asked and were surprised to see the room was clean and available one half hour after check-in time. In addition, they were the only hotel to leave us with less than satisfying accommodation for our bicycles. We eventually decided to bring our bikes into our room that had street level access. Woodstock was a blemish on a wonderful trip. The Bear staff seem unhappy and perhaps understaffed.
Billing up front of the trip was disappointing as $300+ was charged for the E-bike with not notice. We were never aware of the extra charge for the e-bike. This money was taken without permission from our credit card. I would likely have agreed to that charge but do not approve of charges simply taken without notice. Bad move Tripsite! Your need to settle the bill, after the final $$$ were agreed to and paid is not proper, in our opinion.
The Kingham Plough was the least fancy of all our rooms, but was well balanced by the accommodating staff, farm style of the room, and very nice pub.
All other accommodations ware fantastic. Staff was friendly and accommodating. We loved the Randolph, the Arden, Lygon Arms, Cotswold House and the Manor House.
We loved the trip overall. Great way to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. :-)

· Castles of the Loire
We had a trip of a lifetime. Everything about this trip was great. The hotels were very nice, we opted for top tier hotels. The only thing I wish we could change was more time in the day. There was more to do and see them we had time for. The bikes we perfect for the task and the bike handoff was excellent. Baggage handling was great. There was only one issue and we held some responsibility in the mistake, but it was corrected quickly. Thank you all for making my wife's dream of riding through the Loire Valley come true.

· Aare River, from the Swiss Alps to the Rhine
The scenery was spectacular. Many days the ride was on beautifully maintained country roads, many of them unpaved that wound through farms where the cows’ bells sounded like music. Other times we biked along the river and watched beautiful swans and birdlife. The first days ride down Grimselpass was scary/exhilarating with such a long downhill. Be prepared for loud motorcycles zooming by you and be careful in the tunnels. City navigating, esp Bern, was tricky finding our hotels at times.

· Southern France Canal du Midi Bike Tour
The Canal du MIDI bike trip was an excellent and slow way to see the beauty of the countryside and experience the hospitality of locals. There was enough time at the end of each day to explore the villages and see the sights. Can highly recommend this bike ride. It was also fun to meet other cyclists.

· Cycling in the Baltics - Vilnius to Tallinn
Great way to see these three countries. The tour visits the top five areas of each country. Top experience was renting the private hot tub and sauna at the Johanan spa in Kassamerre for a Caviar and vodka star party other memorable spots were the hill of crosses, the Corean spit , The carvings of Mythic creatures at the witches Hill, writing through the forest from Riga to Palanga, and the smoked fish from local vendors. We were on the self-guided semi supported trip and enjoyed the close cooperation with the guided tour. We always felt that someone was available to help. Since we were a smaller group, we were able to adjust the times and destinations to fit our specific needs. The drivers were very supportive and communicated well with WhatsApp. We had unseasonably warm and dry weather for so late in the season, having only, four hours of rain over 13 days. Some venues were closed, but we enjoyed having no crowds. Best to load the bike app they suggest as the drop off and pick up points were spot on. Overall would do again.

· Berlin to Copenhagen
The trip was a great way to see rural eastern Germany and Denmark. The bike paths and low-trafficed roads were a great way to see a part of the world I had only seen in pictures. Saw things I never would have imagined seeing. Only for a very small fraction of the trip, well under 5%, did one have to be concerned about significant vehicle traffic. The accommodations were more than satisfactory. Please note though the accommodations met European decent quality standards NOT what some North Americans would expect. Some of the rooms were a bit smaller. no AC and low volume flush toilets. The quality of the breakfasts more than made up for any minor issues regarding the rooms. The map data was well laid out. Would definitely recommend downloading the GPX route files and using them on your phone to go from town to town.

North Macedonia & Greece - Ohrid to Kastraki
Overall, this was a very enjoyable trip. The scenery was fabulous, and the food and culture was wonderful. The representative that we met in Ohrid was very helpful, and the bike shop owner was great. The hotels were all very nice, and most provided adequate air conditioning in what turned out to be hottest summer on record. My biggest grievance with this trip was the navigation app that was provided, as it was not compatible with common GPS apps that most cyclists use and did no provide turn-by-turn directions.

This was the most organized non-guided trip I have ever been on. We had a driver stay with us the entire week and provided support if you had a flat or any bike trouble. They picked us up or dropped us off to safer starting and ending spots so that we could stay at beautiful hotels and not have to ride on very unsafe fast roads with no bike lanes. They organized guided tours in some of the cities we stayed in. The hotels were top notch, really really nice. The routes were well organized and detours were sent to us a week prior due to road construction. I couldn't recommend this trip enough. Poland cities are beautiful, clean, the food is great and very inexpensive. The countryside is beautiful. Poland's cities are unlike other European cities now. The cities feel safe and clean. Please put this trip on your bucket list. Well worth it!

Overall the trip was great. The communication with the bicycle supplier was a bit lacking. The bikes just appeared with no personal contact.
The Hotel L'Auberge Normande in Carrentan needs to be reevaluated. It is a very dismal place. The people were fine, but the accommodations are run down and bottom class. I do not recommend placing anyone there ever.

· Clare & the Burren
We thoroughly enjoyed this trip. The hotels and inns were excellent. The people were warm and welcoming. The routes were beautiful and scenic, much of it along the Atlantic Ocean. We had a chance to experience fully this fabulous and unique region (County Clare and the Burren). We especially loved the hotel and shops in Ennis, the beach in Spanish Point, the Cliffs of Moher, the local music in the pubs in Doolin, the harbor and seafood in Ballyvaughan and the rock structures and castle near Kinvara. The routes were hillier than we expected. If folks aren't used to frequent or sustained hills, they might consider using e-bikes.

· Lake Garda & the Adige River
We did the 8 day, Bolzano to Verona trip, with biking beginning at the Resia Pass. Our adult kids joined us for first 5 days (Bolzano to Bolzano), also beginning at the Resia Pass. We loved this trip with just a few low points. First day biking from the Resia pass was absolutely amazing. We weren’t quite prepared for the cooler micro-climate of that area on biking day 1, but the stunning scenery and fun of basically going “weeeee” all the way down the mountain for the first two days was incredible! Then on to quaint and adorable Merano and Silandro. Arriving at the top of the hill en route to the ferry at Lake Garda was breathtaking, and not to be missed! The new Ride GPS app works great!
One thing that could be improved upon is the 5 hour ferry ride. The ferry ride was only pleasing for about the first two hours, but then became incredibly tedious. Because the ferry arrived late at night in Peschiera, we could spend no time there. Chatting with others on the ferry who were doing the same trip, we salivated at some of the towns we saw on Lake Garda and would have been happy to spend time at any of them. Also, biking and staying in Trento fell flat and we’d prefer to spend two nights in Merano, Silandro, on Lake Garda, or even Bolzano and skip Trento. Hotels were varied, with some that were outstanding and some that were marginal. Condition of bikes was great, with the exception of an e-bike dying, but tour company quickly replace it;)

· Sognefjorden - Norway’s King of the Fjords
We’ve done a number of bicycling trips over the last 10+ years, and this was one of the best due to a combination of factors. The touring team was excellent (that would include Marietta our principal guide, her husband (the bike and luggage handler) and her co-guide). Their combined knowledge, kindness, and efficiency made for a perfect trip. We rode through some rain storms, but they were of small consequence (that surprised me), Norway is gorgeous, the e-bikes were excellent (my husband and I are in our 80s), and the daily itineraries were varied and well thought out.

· Borderland of Lithuania & Poland
We were a self-guided pair that was added on to a guided tour. So we travelled with them when bus transfers were needed but we did not have any meals apart from breakfast included in the deal. So when we arrived at small villages the others had set meals pre-booked for them and we were needing to find meals either at the same or different places. So we felt disconnected from the group. That was fine. But if you want a group experience go with the fully guided bookings. The Italians in the riding group wanted to eat at 8 pm and we wanted to have early nights so that we could cycle before the heat of the day. The Italians did not want to get going until 9 am, so if there was a bus transfer prior to the day’s ride we could not start riding until after an hour or so in the bus, starting at 9 am in the bus. It was summer, it was hot. The bikes were basic commuter bikes, in my opinion. They weren’t suitable for riding on the lose gravel, sand and large stones and cobble stones. So we ended up pushing our bikes in the heat of the day for anywhere between 250 meters and 800 metres. After a while it certainly did not feel like my idea of a holiday! The 2 and 3 star accommodation was clean but basic. No kettles, no teabags, no fridge. So for people like myself with dietary needs (and who likes to drink copious amounts of tea) it was difficult to self cater. The guide Romas, was knowledgeable, but when a change of plan was needed he did not excel in forward planning toilet or cafe stops. Some cafes were closed until noon, but we arrived at 10:30-11 am, if he’d rung ahead the day before they may have opened at 10:30-11 am for a group booking for 10 hungry cyclists. Picnic lunches could have been planned. Warning for group riders: the group only goes as fast as the slowest rider! We often passed the group, who were waiting at a crossroad for the beginner rider to catch up. We’d arrive at our accommodation hours before them. The maps synced with the Ride with GPS app, after a few hiccups which were quickly rectified by the Company. It’s mainly flat terrain and pine forests so not particularly exciting, pleasant, but not exciting. It was as described; “gently rolling hills” was the description I think.

I forgot to mention in my earlier review that there was a miscommunication re where to pick up our bikes in Lubeck. The hotel rep at Jahreszeiten, and the notice she handed us with our documents, stated that we needed to go to the Radisson Blu to pick up our bikes. (Tripsite booked us at a hotel outside the Alstadt.) After much back and forth with the Radisson reception and our local tour rep, we discovered that our bikes were not at the Radisson but were waiting for us at our hotel. This error cost us time and cab money, as well as an hour of anxiety at 10pm at night as we tried to figure out where our bikes were.
Nonetheless, we'd like to thank the local rep and the transporter who delivered our bags from hotel to hotel.

We loved most of the locations, esp. Lubeck, Wismar, Zingst. Rerik, which was swapped out for the destination promoted on your website (Kuhlungsborn), was a nice alternative, small and relaxing.
On Day 4, we would have liked to stay in Warnemunde, but were lodged in a large, noisy, ugly youth hostel/low income -type place in Rostock had a long line at check-in and was a 20-minute walk to the nearest Sban station. The room wasn't bad; however the location, building, and breakfast did not meet our expectations. (The staff at Reception was nice.)
We chose Level 1 accommodations because we wanted quaint, quiet BandB type places - not big chains - in lovely locations.
Also missable is Ribnitz. We had a nice seafood dinner at the port, but otherwise not much of interest here. And the town had a strange vibe -
I would recommend an alternative that skips Ribnitz and includes Binz, a lovely seaside resort town on Rugen.
The bikes were solid even on cobblestones and dirt roads but a bit heavy, esp. on the many hills between Lubeck and Wismar.
Overall we had lovely rides and enjoyed our route very much.

What a wonderful experience. The operating people were the best. Merete was our guide, her husband Yngvar was the bike technician and luggage and bike van driver, and Geir was the assistant guide. All three were not only competent at their assignments but were three of the nicest people you could ever meet. The fact that Merete and Yngvar own the company contributed to the efficiency and real desire to deliver a great product. The scenery was magnificent. Food and accommodations were very good The other riders melded into a convivial group which made each day one to remember.
The ride is rated easy to moderate. I think that is fair. However there are a couple of climbs that a less experienced cyclist might want to consider using the optional e-bikes available for the tour.
I would rate the trip 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ +++

· Danube Bike Path - Vienna to Budapest
While to bike, the GPS app, and the lodgings were all good, this trip had problems. First, I was routed to the wrong city/hotel on the first day. My trip itinerary and my GPS instructions put me in the wrong city so I had to ride additional miles to get to where my luggage was located. Very poor but doable. My main complaint is about the lack of communication from the local on the ground operator. My bike, while good, had an issue with the seat slowing lowering so every 30 minutes or so I would have to raise it back up. I called the company and was told someone would call me back, they didn't. I called again and was told that they would contact someone to come and look at the bike and that they would call back in a couple of minutes, they didn't. I called again and received the same response and the same result of not calling back. They are open until 8pm so at 7:45pm I called yet again and this time there was no answer and no way to leave a message. They did call back the next day and send me a list of bike shops in my next city. I was told to have the repair made, send them the receipt, and I would be reimbursed they were vague on how I was going to be reimbursed. I decided to stay with readjusting my seat every 30 minutes because I lost all confidence in them.
I will say that Rebecca from TripSite was excellent. I called her after the no answer phone call. She followed up with me later that day as well as the next day and patiently listened to my story. Thanks Rebecca!

What a wonderful trip!! It was easy to navigate. The route was not very difficult, but active enough to feel like you've earned your sangria at the end of the day :) Lots to do and see along the routes: beaches, museums, ruins, vineyards. Amazing food. Dips in the Mediterranean post cycle. It was everything we wanted. Girona was particularly special. We did give ourselves 3 days to enjoy the city before the trip started and I would recommend that. The food and architecture and history of the old city was a joy to explore. Also, make sure to book tickets for the Dali Theatre and Museum in Figueres at the end of the trip.
