This trip was a most enjoyable travel experience! I was a stranger in a foreign land with a group of bicyclists whom I barely knew! The sites were beautiful, the people warm and friendly. My memories will always be that this was one of my most wonderful life experiences!
This trip was well planned and expertly carried out!

· Loire Valley - Orléans to Tours
In May 2024 my two friends and I did this bike trip.
Tripsite was fabulous organising our hotels and bikes. The best part was by 9 am each morning our luggage was picked up and delivered to our next accommodation in a beautiful town. The e-bikes were perfect to make the days ride very pleasant. The paths are very well sign posted, so extremely easy to follow and the terrain was for the most part flat making the riding easy.
I’d recommend staying an extra night in Amboise and Tours, lots to see.
We used the standard accommodation, all a bit quirky but clean and comfortable enough for 1 night stay.
All the accommodation are geared up for cyclists, all having places to store the bikes and some even for charging e-bikes.
You will not be alone on the path passing other cycling enthusiasts. France is a cycling country so you’ll notice lots of families out as you get closer to towns.
We rewarded ourselves with a chateau stay once we finished at Tours, it was the best experience for all of us..
We enjoyed it so much we are now booking the next stage of the Loire river.. we could not get enough of the scenery and especially the beautiful Chateaux.....stunning.

· Cycling in the Baltics - Vilnius to Tallinn
This was a great guided bike trip through some lovely parts of the Baltic countries and an opportunity to learn about the complicated history of the region. Although there were transfers on a motor coach most days (which allowed us to see so many different areas), there was still plenty of biking and sightseeing each day. The route was almost completely flat, with only a few short hills to navigate. The pre-booked dinners were at the hotels and had fixed menus: the upside was that it was so simple after a day of biking, but the downside there wasn't the opportunity to check out local restaurants. We particularly enjoyed the city tours in Vilnius, Riga, and Tallinn and the biking on the Estonian island of Saaremaa.

· Danube Bike Path - Vienna to Budapest
Our cycling trip was marred by inclimate weather which cut the tour short due to flooding of the Danube. Because of the detours that were forced upon us we got to see some of the national forest (although we had to clime over downed trees to get through.

Very fun trip, the parts along the old railway are great because you don’t run into car traffic…there are a fair amount of walkers and joggers so you need to watch for that.
The parts in the small towns are interesting because you are riding in little alleys. When you get on the roads between the towns you need to be careful of cars because many of them will pass you very fast.
In some towns and along the seashore some of the roads/trails have been banned for bikes, so you need to either walk your bike or find you way around on other streets.
What’s nice is different scenery on each day so the ride is never monotonous.

· Flavors of Italy: The very best of Emilia-Romagna
It was a great trip. Everything went smoothly. Sophie from TripSite was very responsive. The hotels were all located in central locations, clean and had great breakfast buffets. The Art Hotel Commercianti in Bologna and the Agriturismo La Razza were fabulous. The food in this region is top notch and the people are so friendly.
Don't let hills deter you from doing a bike trip - I used an e-bike and it was so easy to do the hills. Bike is such a great way to travel!

· Extremadura: Spanish Land of Conquistadors
I really enjoyed the Paradors.... each unique and comfortable. The biking is through rural countryside (mostly paved roads and light traffic but there can be stretches with heavier traffic, drivers were courteous in my experience). Beautiful area. Very hilly, but very pretty. I would recommend this trip.

· Best of Tuscany Bike Tour
Just returned from this tour. This is one of my favorite bike tours of all time. Our guide Antonio and driver Felix were outstanding in meals, information, and great personalities. My wife and I rode e-bikes for this trip and were thankful we did. While some others struggled at times we were able to enjoy the scenery and still get as much of a workout as desired. The route is heavily roads and gravel making the wider tires a much better choice. If your hard core be prepared.
The food and accommodations were very good. Definitely would recommend.

This ride was so well organized and memorable in so many ways. The places we rode to, the food we ate and the local wines we drank made this ride one to remember. Riding through back farm roads with little traffic, seeing the olive trees, dry rock walls and cactus plants, all touched our hearts. The reason we love bike riding is to connect with the land, absorbing the atmosphere of who the people are and how they live. The rides each day were so good, the accommodation was exceptional, you will not be disappointed. Staying at Lecce, Otranto, Santa Maria de Leuca and Gallipoli were highlights along the way, as was walking to the tip of the "heel" of Italy. So special and memorable.

· Matera to Lecce
The Bike company organizing this trip was amazing. Their attention to detail, interest in our ride, information given, was outstanding. The chosen accommodation was first class, as were the meals that were included. The state of Italian roads was challenging and s few sections of the ride quite uninspiring, but overall we loved the places we stayed at and the journey along the way, especially Polignano, Alberobello and Lecce. A wonderful experience of Puglia.

· Classic Tuscany E-Bike tour
It was a tough ride, all of the hills was another level. Only take this ride if you are aware that most of the ride is on local roads, with some traffic, and riding up and down hills continually every day. Be careful to conserve your battery, as riding uphill with no power assist is not a good experience (Our story, 2km uphill ride Day 1 into Radda!!) Each night's accommodation was a treat as these towns was especially chosen for us experience the history of Tuscany. So rich in history.

· Puglia Food & Wine
This tour was wonderful! We had mostly good directions on the navigation system (getting in and out of town was sometimes tricky), we stayed in great resorts, we enjoyed the food and wine tastings, and we loved the coastal and inland rides (though some roads were a bit rough). The E-bike made it very enjoyable. The best thing was doing this with friends and family and appreciating the various activities provided in the tour, especially the food! I’m glad we arrived to Lecce early and did a city tour - great city! Wish we’d had another night in Otranto. We had an extra night in Leuca which we probably wouldn’t recommend because there’s not much to do there, but those who did the ride around Leuca enjoyed it. Our favorite city was Gallipoli - riding in along the coast was stunning. Three of us used the extra day to explore the town rather than biking and are glad we did as it is such a cool city! It would be helpful to have the stopping points on the GPS directions (only the wine tasting was on the map), as we had to go back to find the bakery (glad we did as the samplings were amazing) and never found the farm along the road. All in all, TRIPSITE and the local bike company did a fantastic job. I’d highly recommend this tour.

There were so many memorable parts to our trip it is hard to choose one. We loved riding along the incredibly beautiful seashore of Portugal. We stayed in some amazing hotels. We ate the local food of Galicia and tried so many foods that we never would have ordered at home. We rode on every kind of surface imaginable and enjoyed seeing all the walking pilgrims. On arrival in Santiago Compostela we found the cathedral magnificent. It was a fabulous trip. Thank you to our superb guides!

· Danube Bike Path - Vienna to Budapest
The weather wreaked havoc on the trip - with highly unusual rainfall inundation and wind conditions in Austria and Slovakia. The subsequent flooding affected the routes and led to the tour company cancelling 2/3 of the trip. The local tour company struggled to manage communication with everyone. We were booked into a different hotel for the 2nd night and not provided with directions to this hotel. Budapest was lovely and we had great weather there, but we did not experience most of the bike route.

I think Matera is unforgettable. It’s an impressive city. The experience to see how to prepare all those delicious cheese in Noci was amazing. I’d suggest an optional thing for the end of the biketour, that is a Spa Day. It would be nice to have a massage and a relaxing time after all.

Being pulled up by the police for riding on the motorway. It was so scary - we had no option but to keep going. This was between Stanstad and Sarnen. This is despite paying for the kamloot app. Days 1-3 were good. We don’t like riding on roads - but 4-5 was not so fun

Make sure you don't get booked on s boat as a hotel, dirty and bugs. They say gravel bikes but they are not. They do not send a mechanic to set up bike, just a tour guide who knows nothing. Bike was dirty and needed oiling. They said safety checked but found issues when given the bike. If traveling in pairs they only give you one copy even though you paid full price for both. They also only give one lock when we were told each would get one. Printed map and instructions not accurate. No instructions to specific hotels. Breakfast and luggage pick up times do not align.

· Danube Bike Path - Vienna to Budapest
We were looking forward to enjoying this well-planned out trip, mostly on well-maintained cycle paths, but the weather had different ideas! All started out great in Vienna on a warm and sunny day. Our hotel in Vienna was pleasant and the trip guide / Austrian partner, was very helpful and patient with the many travelers needing his guidance. But then Storm Boris hit with torrential rains and strong winds! We struggled through mostly wet and rainy days. However, we got great support in changing out our bikes, due to mechanical and ergonomic issues when we arrived in Bratislava. There certainly were some very enjoyable moments, especially the hotels and food (we chose the half board option) but we cut our riding short on the fifth day to avoid additional days of rain and cooler temperatures. The local partner helped us with securing a hotel in Budapest a day early and with a train ticket from Komarom to Budapest. We know that our trip would have been totally amazing had the weather cooperated! There was no way to predict the unexpected 10-year deluge in Central and Eastern Europe.

The most remarkable part of the trip was the beautiful countryside we saw on Funen, and getting a brief picture of the Danish 'personality'. I loved having an e-bike as it made the hills a breeze, although I found the bike very heavy when trying to maneuver it crossing streets etc in the cites.

· Denmark’s South Funen Archipelago
The biggest downfall of the trip was the bike directions. It should be emphasized to be prepared to use digital routes and give them upon arriving. Unless able to provide them, people should be told to bring a mount for the phone on the handle bars, rain protection for the phone and earbuds. The detailed directions are not usable. We'd still be trying to get of Odense!?
The lodgings were personable and great except not crazy about Hotel Faaborg Strand. It was too far out to go on a rainy, windy night to town for dinner and they had only one selection on the dinner menu. They cater to conventions. A place in town would be much better. The ebikes were of very good quality. Giving people the rules of biking in Denmark would be useful. We had rain, cold and wind but still loved the beautiful scenery and especially loved the islands.

· Lake Constance - Highlights & Hinterland
The most memorable part for me was the scenery. Biking through the "hinterlands" and Bavaria was very beautiful and interesting. The fruit trees and the family farms were charming.
The ride was more difficult than I expected and I was not expecting to ride on gravel and dirt paths. At times that was a bit challenging. I think the rating should be moderate to difficult.
We had too many people in our group, 14, and only one leader. She was wonderful but she had never ridden the route and was not very knowledgable about the route or the area. One of the participants had to ride "sweep".
I would have liked a little bit more free time. We had zero time to do any shopping or sightseeing in the villages that we stayed in. The 2 to 2 1/2 dinners were a bit long although delicious.
The hotels were wonderful and the food was great. Because of weather we did not have picnic lunches but our lunch stops were very good.
I felt we spent too much time standing around and waiting. At times things were a bit disorganized but I do believe that was because of the inexperience of our leader.

· Prague to Dresden - A Tale of Two Rivers
The TripSite team took care of all the details, was responsive to questions, and made our trip easy and worry free. Prague to Dresden was our second trip and we hope to book many more. We select the upgraded hotels and add on extra nights for an even better experience. The new navigation app made biking even easier. Advice to bikers: do your homework on the suggested side trips - some were nothing burgers but a couple were spectacular and worth the time.
