Prague to Krakow

The second day from Nymburk to Kutna Hora was one of the most beautiful bike trips I've done to date.
The cycle path inside the woods next to the river is simply beautiful.

Beautiful scenery along the coast of Portugal. This trip was rated as easy and if certainly was not. We were on regular bikes and there were quite a few very steep hills on rough terrain. People in our group had to walk their bikes up.

Costa Brava & Empordà - old version
Spain

I liked the routes through agricultural country side away from the busy cities. And also the chosen night locations in remote beautiful towns. We had a lovely time and would recommend this bike tour to everyone.

One thing we would have liked is to split the longest day to 2 days to be more able to take in the scenery by stopping every now and then.

We had a lovely stay at São Quinta Tome, our accommodation for six nights instead of the farm which was fully booked.
We enjoyed most of the routes although we the scenery would be more beautiful in spring if before harvest.

Todo o percurso foi excelente. A meu ver, as rotas indicadas não foram muito claras para a localização da rota. Já fiz outros tour pela tripsite e o mapa impresso foi mais fácil de compreender.

Prague to Vienna
Austria, Czech Republic

I did the Prague-Vienna Greenways 7-day guided tour with a group of 30 friends. We were on a variety of bikes (road, hybrid, & e-bikes). Vitek and his team made this adventure go as smoothly as possible. They were extremely accommodating, helpful, and fun. They offered much more than I was expecting, including meal option planning, hotel check-in, en route snacks/drinks, and language interpretation when needed. All of that made things much more streamlined for us, given the large group size. The route was wonderful, with a wide variety of scenery and riding surfaces. Vitek is very knowledgeable about the culture and history of Czech, so we were able to learn a lot while enjoying the ride. This was such an amazing trip, and I would highly recommend it to anybody wanting to do an adventure like this.

Andalusia - Seville to Granada
Spain

The route was outstanding tho more difficult than I thought it would be. The scenery was unbelievable - miles & miles of olive trees, castles, cathedrals. The hotels in the small towns along the way were excellent except for one.

The best part of the ride was Steven, the most patient guide ever. He was very knowledgeable about the area and had lots of suggestions for seeing things after riding for the day.

The only thing I would give a demerit for was the condition of the bikes when starting out. They hadn't been maintained very well and it took awhile on the first day to get going.

This was a great trip for beginners - the hotels and bike journey were extremely well curated. These bike paths are also much more traveled than we were expecting (in a good way), but be sure to ask your tour provider to provide lunch options in the GPS route.

A first rate bike tour with awesome scenery, great lodgings and good food. Opt for an ebike for stress free cycling. Colin runs a top notch operation. You'll see native animals, taste local wines and visit quaint towns and villages. Just wonderful!

Venice to Florence
Italy

This tour helped us see Italy in a different way than usual! We loved visiting the small towns and seeing some lesser traveled parts of Italy. Each city/town was unique and was worth the visit. Every detail was so well planned by Tripsite and communication was fantastic. The app we used was clear and easy to follow as we cycled. We especially loved the cooking class we took- that was a highlight of our trip!

Bike & Wine in Hungary
Hungary

The guides Gabor and A'kos were great and were very prompt and knowledgeable about the area. All meals, accommodations and the wine were amazing. All the places we visited were very interesting and fun was had by all in our group. We really lucked out with the weather. Bikes worked well and Gabor was efficient in changing my wife's flat tire in no time. This was our highlight of our trip to Eastern Europe. We would recommend this trip to those who like wine and biking.

Camino de Santiago E-Bike Tour

Not getting a bike that fit me. The frame was too big. It created a hazard that I couldn't overcome. Make sure that they know your exact wants. I didn't and was hurt on the first day. I don't feel that the office was as helpful as they could of been in getting me from city to city afterwards. I spent well over $150. On taxis.

The Triple was fantastic! There where many memorable moments. One was the fado group at a charming hotel. The fantastic beaches and food must be noticed as well. The movie of the trip done by the local partner (sergio) was very touching. The guy is the best!

The Vincetine Coast is spectacular. The weather ( 6 sunny days), the views, the beaches, the guide´s, and the bikes were very good. Our Group was hibrid with e-bike and normal bikes. No problems with either. The e-bikes were very good.

The whole trip from start to finish was FABULOUS. The food, wine, scenery, historical sites and the accommodation were all top notch. Our guide Gabor and support driver Askus were knowledgeable, adaptable and just looked after our every need not to leave out that they were super fun as well. I would recommend this trip to anyone who wants to experience good food, great wine, and a relaxed exploration of the beautiful Balaton region of Hungary.

Loire Valley - Tours to Angers
France

Our group of 4 friends (2 couples) enjoyed the chateaux that we visited, the French countryside, cuisine, wine tasting, accommodations, and friendliness of the French people. We would likely not have found the hotels selected if we planned the trip ourselves and several were very unusual and enjoyable. The hotel locations were typically near a variety of restaurants. In Tours we found a very interesting museum housing journeyman crafted works in all trades that were exquisite. We also encountered a "self-service" ferry boat that was fun to operate. Angers had a chateau housing the Apocalypse tapestry that we found worthwhile.
This ride was a mix of flat and hilly days with the last day longer and hillier than the rest. One of our riders was "fit" and in his 60's and had no difficulties; I, fortunately, upgraded to an e-bike and managed fine but struggled the week before on several of the Amboise based rides (I am 74 and a lifetime rider). Umbria - Gastronomy Bike Tour
Italy

Dinner/wine tasting with Luca and Roberto.

The written route directions could be made a bit clearer. I would suggest you have a native English speaker try riding the routes and make changes as (s)he goes. They were okay but there were a few places where they were difficult to follow. The GPS is definitely helpful but sometimes it lagged so the written directions are needed.

Matera to Lecce

The places you suggested to go to were all great along with the vouchers … and you definitely needed someone to read the GPS correctly since it could be tricky. I would also suggest an electric bike if people are thinking about it all since there are a lot of hills but all doable and needs to be see on the trails.

Danube Bike Path - Passau to Vienna
Germany, Austria

The scenery was spectacular, especially between Passau and Linz and later through the wine region. Flat bike path almost all the way from Passau to Vienna. The booklet with directions that was given to us at orientation was extremely well organized, very clear, and useful. We enjoyed very much the freedom of the self-guided tour, stopping in villages for a cappuccino and pastries. Our luggage was always there when we arrived at our hotel. The hotels were nice, except for the one in Linz, (Shwarzer Bar) which was right above a noisy bar, and with poor service. I would recommend a different hotel. A major highlight of the trip was Hotel Kirchenwirt in the lovely village of Weissenkichen, in the one region. In fact, I would recommend staying two nights there to enjoy the spectacular biking through the vineyards and resting bit in the middle of the trip. The two 70+km days were a bit long but very doable. Overall a memorable vacation, very well organized by Tripsite.

South Africa Kruger National Park Safari
South Africa

This trip is a unique combination of bike adventure, safari, and cultural appreciation of a complex country that richly deserves our attention, understanding, and affection. Highly recommend!
Our family of 2 parents and 2 adult children had the trip of a lifetime: biking through breathtaking African scenery and local villages, coming face to face with some of the most majestic animals on the planet, and enjoying time with our lively, informative, and excellent guides who have deep roots in the provinces we visited: Limpopo and Mpumalanga. It is unusual to find a guided bike ride in these places - many roads are unpaved or hard to access - but the guides’ resources and knowledge of the area makes this special trip possible.
Lizélle is the tour director, and she has created an amazing itinerary that allows guests to experience the warm hospitality of private game reserves, delicious home-cooked meals on the “braai,” and unique personal encounters Read More

Corsica E-Bike Tour
France

Riding up Restonica Gorge outside of Corte really showcased the rugged beauty of this island. The pedal-assist bikes were necessary and very good quality. We appreciated our guide Georg who had encyclopedic knowledge of the history and geography of Corsica, among many other things. As the only Americans in this all-German group, we still still achieved a lively camaraderie by the end of the week. Two of the hotels were wonderful, charming and stylish; two other hotels were disappointing in their setting and service level (from someone who is picky about hotels!). Bring layers for cycling - even in hot weather there were shady downhills that got very chilly!

Danube Bike Path - Vienna to Budapest
Austria, Hungary, Slovakia

The fall weather made for a beautiful ride along the Danube. The GPS was excellent at guiding us down the bike lanes and thru the lovely villages and cities. The route has impressive paved off road trails most of the way with occasional packed gravel trails. The hotels were excellent and our bags were always awaiting are arrival. We have taken other trips with Tripsite and they have all been well organized and fun.
