Hilde our tour guide was extra special. Really enjoyed learning about her and her country. Biking around Amsterdam was amazing!! My favorite location was the Keukenhof gardens. Breathtaking!!

The ship "Sailing Home" and it's crew were fantastic. The food each day was 5star healthy and plentiful.

After being delayed two years due to COVID, a group of friends took the Tulip Tour on board the Magnifique IV. It was a fabulous trip. We loved the barge, crew, tour guides, and itinerary. We gave accolades to the chef for his delicious meals. On April 18, we visited the Keukenhof flower park, where the flowers were in full bloom. We were lucky to enjoy sunny weather during our trip. This trip was well worth the wait!

Our group of 17 would highly recommend this tour.

The Tulip Tour aboard Sailing Home was absolutely fabulous!! All members of the crew and the bike tour guide were amazing. The fields of flowers and overall scenery on the route were fantastic. One word of advice - if you’re not an avid biker, rent an e bike. The winds can be quite strong and just a little bit of power provided by the bike goes a long way. It wii help keep the pack together. This tour is highly recommended!!

The 4 crew members were wonderful - always willing to help or make suggestions when asked.
The food was well prepared, tasty and plentiful. The barge is very well maintained and very comfortable. The day trips during the bike rides were very well organized and planned. I Can not say enough good things about this trip. Would highly recommend the Quo Vadis tulip trip to everyone. I hope to be back on the Quo Vadis soon.

We had a wonderful trip. No down time to relax but this trip was about biking and seeing the sights. The trip is rated easy and I am a healthy 65 year old woman and in pretty decent shape and the rides challenged me every day. The guide was incredible and so was the boat and staff.

The most memorable was biking through the low lands, seeing the difference in water / land level, local animals and how /where they built their homes. Riding through and around the Keukenhof was great for us tulip lovers. Also Windmills and more windmills at the Kinderdijk...fantastic scenic. This trip was well orchestrated and executed we had an unforgettable time.

The whole experience was so fun. Sleeping and hanging out on the barge, of course the biking was so fun to see the area we were staying in. The food was fantastic on the boat as well as the staff. We we’re also able to go the the flower auction and visit the flower park.
I would highly recommend this trip.

The bike riding was great, going to places which would only be experienced by bicycle.

The best part of this trip was riding through fields of tulips and taking the time to stop and enjoy the views. Those views included nesting swans, blue herons and numerous other birds as well as windmills and canals. Would recommend this trip to anyone who likes to travel.

Sailing Home was a lovely barge, extremely clean, and the staff was delightful. Truly a wonderful experience.

It was a great tour, where accomodation food and services on the boat were excellent.
The bikes were good and the biking programme brought us around to very interesting places.
Biking in towns with traffic and traffic lights gave a lot of stops to keep the group together. Smaller groups and less waiting time could be considered by the tour guides.

A wonderful experience overall. Premium barge, excellent service and friendly staff made the trip much better.
Like the fact that we could break the group into two (fast and slow) riders.
Suggestions: a little more breaks during riding to allow time to enjoy the countryside.

Our bike and barge tour on the QuoVadis was amazing. We followed our guides thru the cities, the woods, along the beach on a wonderful tour past acres of fragrant hyacinths, daffodils and tulips. On board our meals were delicious and our cabin most comfortable. A truly memorable and delightful trip.

Loved the bike rides through the tulip and hyacinth fields...............the fragrance was awesome. the Flower garden was inspiring. I loved the Flower Mart. wilma did a great job of leading and making us all feel comfortable. Food was delicious.

We absolutely loved biking through the countryside in Holland. Our tour guides were amazing and knowledgeable, and it was an unforgettable experience!

This was a delightful trip, on a delightful boat, with an exceptional crew. The weather was wretched!! The crew and participants all kept a good attitude, worked around it, and enjoyed the time. I can honestly report that Mother Nature was granting no favors. We did manage to ride every day. On the worst day, we were offered alternatives, and about 1/2 chose not to ride, but we still got to the Keurkoff gardens and enjoyed the tulips. One good thing, the crowds were less. I commend the crew for making this an enjoyable trip. I would definitely travel with you again.

The crew members were outstanding hosts. They never got tired of answering questions or making suggestions to make it a great week....even though the weather was awful. Cold/ windy/dreary. I missed a couple of days on the bike and the cruising part of the trip was wonderful.

This was for the first time I took a bike trip with… But it was not just a trip, but also a pilgrimage – Camino Portuguese. Since I have chosen a »solo trip«, I could enjoy the freedom of choosing my own schedule, time, stops, food, drinks etc, but at the same time I did not have to worry about the daily accomodations, finding hotels, carrying my extra baggage etc. My bag would wait for me every afternoon in my room, prescribed by the baggage taxi. On my bike I had well prepared Garmin instructions and on my phone there was all other information tailored to my needs, contained in the application Ride with GPS. I would highly recommend the services of this company to anyone wanting a fun, relaxed, educational bike travel – they deliver!

Weather . It was so windy. But we still made the best of it . Last day of riding only 11 made it with 3 guides. 17 miles in 50+ winds

Cycling on easy cycle paths through different landscapes - most enjoyable and interesting. Food on boat was fabulous - excellent chef. Tour guides very helpful.

Well… the weather wasn’t good (rain and wind), but no one can control the weather, so….

The Quo Vadis was very nice, and the crew were top notch! Our bicycle tour guides kept us safe and very entertained (thanks, Wim & Rikko!). Our chef, Franco, fed us very well, although snacks after our rides could have been better. Captain R.J. and first mate Hilde were lovely.

I would recommend this trip, but I would say to plan on the second week of April rather than the first week… chance of better weather and more tulips.

I truly enjoyed the variety of experiences the crew put together for us. We biked through small towns and large cities, through countrysides and farms, and we even biked through dunes. Everyone’s interest was accommodated but it didn’t feel like we were bogged down in anyway.

Very bad weather was more than offset by the graciousness, generosity and flexibility of our hosts. Lovely accommodation and top tier food. Will do this trip perhaps in France in the future with same hosts.

The boat, the crew, the guide, were all fabulous. Traveling alone, I never felt alone. It was the perfect way to see the country, learning the tulip trade, about the culture and cycling in all kinds of weather made this a very memorable trip. I must say, there was more than one experience as a florist I enjoyed the flowers and learning about their farms, the windmills and how they irrigate the canals, and the windmill keeper who gave us an extensive tour of his windmill and how it operates.

I would recommend this trip for people of all ages. The staff on the Merlijn was wonderful. As were the scenery, biking, and the people of the Netherlands. Be aware that the weather fluctuates in the spring and come prepared. All of the water ways cause it to be windy as well. But it is well worth it!

The rides through the countryside were memorable, with the freedom of movement, the vibrant spring colours and the sight of waterfowl going about their nesting tasks, while cycling through some pretty challenging spring weather. Then we got back to the boat, welcomed again on board by a crew also glad to be back after two yeas of covid restrictions. The meals were very good, the guide always helpful and my travel companions friendly and interesting.
After two years of emails and trying to salvage something of a planning disaster during covid, I found the actual trip well organized and I could trust it would turn out well. I would do it again.
I had a medical issue re an allergic reaction on my face and the guide and crew handled it well, making me a doctor appointment and certainly following my recovery closely. For a person travelling alone it was reassuring and comforting.

Seeing tulips in the spring in Holland has been on my bucket list and they did not disappoint! Being on such a beautiful boat with outstanding crew (especially the chef!) was a definite bonus.
