We love bike and barges! Unpack once, meals provided and spectacular scenery exploring new parts of the world on a bicycle. This was the largest boat we’ve been on with 150 bicyclists, but at no time did we feel that it was too many people. We met new friends and overall it was a great experience. Bicycling Austrian countryside and vineyards, Old world Bratislava and beautiful Budapest were highlights of the tour. And the strudel! The chefs on the boat made the effort to provide meals that were characteristic of the area. The Vivienne cruise Director, Leslie went above and beyond in his duties and was a delight! It was a wonderful bicycling vacation.

Visiting the various small ports and seeing the range of the islands, plus a lot of swimming in wonderful waters.

This was an extraordinary adventure. Highly recommend. Great guides! Thank you Christopher and Martina. Wonderful responsive friendly crew. Superb food, modern comfortable boat, solid easy to use e-bikes. You can’t go wrong with this enterprise in Croatia. Bravo.

Beautiful cities and towns, very nice boat, great people and staff to have the adventure with.

Everything about this trip was wonderful. Do not expect luxury accommodations, but do expect a great crew, fabulous guides, fantastic scenery, and great bike rides.

We loved the experience of both being on this magnificent boat and riding along the coastlines on these fabulous islands. This is the way to really see Greece. The food was outstanding and Mary Lou and Esther (the tour guides) were priceless in keeping us informed of excursions and a ton of fun as well. A bucket list trip for sure.

I liked that the lodgings were often local, with a historic flavor of Czech or Poland, rather than bland international chain hotels. Having the breakfasts and dinners included was great, so convenient and we liked all the meals. The riding routes were very nice, with good scenery, small villages and minimum busy roads. Riding surfaces were often bumpy so the Specialized Diverge bikes we rode were a good match for conditions. The GPS routes worked perfectly, loaded onto my Garmin 1040. The phone APP was brilliant, with so much helpful info and the link to RidewGPS was great, even though I was using my Garmin. We wished we had requested a rest day in Olomouc; it is an interesting town and a break from so many consecutive days of riding would be nice.

Excellent trip, very recommended, every day is a different experience. The temperature is nice all the time,and the guides are very friendly.

It was a wonderful experience from the first to the last day. The accommodation was excellent; luggage transport was on time and without any issues and the rental bicycle was great. Will definitely recommend this trip to anyone who likes cycling and exploring new cycle routes. Will be back for another cycling adventure.

Just some feedback on the accuracy of the bar tab :

- we had to remind the team that we had upgraded one of our bikes to an e-bike for 3 days; they hadn't put it on the tab !

- subsequent to the trip we have realised that our 1x gluten-free supplement hadn't been included on the bar tab .

All this was (potentially) lost income , for the company &/or the crew .

Daily rides through charming Dutch and Belgian villages and rural areas.

Beautiful scenery. Amazing guides. Excellent food and drink. Friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating staff.

The crew was great and the barge very clean and neat. Our chef was amazing and food delicious. He even made his own croissants! Our guides were terrific. One of our guides was the owner of the Iris.

This is our third bike, boat, and barge tour. The barge vessels create a cozy and friendly atmosphere with the crew and fellow cyclists. The Vita Pugna crew offers excellent service. The meals were delicious and freshly prepared with regional products from each area we visited. Michaela, the bike leader, was energetic, meticulous, and knowledgeable. We used e-bikes to enjoy the ride; the trail is flat and suitable for regular bikes as well. Everything was clean. The barge could use a cosmetic refresh, but overall, the vessel is great.

Our week on the Boreas, exploring the beautiful bays and coves of the southern coast of Turkey, was a highlight of our European trip. Our overall impression was how well organised the trip and cycling itinerary was. Every day on the bikes was different, involving stunning scenery, archaeological sites, a picnic lunch, swimming stops and some exhilarating descents. Our guides were super helpful and very accommodating. On the boat we had a very comfortable cabin, lost of space to relax on the decks and the standard of food and service was excellent. A very memorable, active and fun trip.

This was our first trip with Tripsite. We were surprised at the difficult level with the moderate rating but we were able to do it just fine. We were very tired each day, but the views were amazing. We are so exhilarated after every day and having a rest day in the middle of the week was wonderful.
All the hotels were nice, (keep in mind when going-- neither Germany nor Austria use air conditioning in the hotels). I strongly encourage using the wellness center and the hotels. They were so relaxing and fun. We took a daily lunch and had a picnic along the route. We also thoroughly enjoyed the lakes we came across and indulged in a quick swim.

Everything was good. The staff who kept our room did an excellent job. The food was great. Director gave good information. Desk staff were very helpful. Because all of this was good
I am certain that all the behind the scene staff were phenominal.

The heat! We were there during France’s late-June heat wave, so our first two days of biking were beautiful but depleting. The routes were excellent and the app worked very well. We took it easier on ourselves on day three and enjoyed the flexibility of a self-guided tour, which allowed us to explore the town of Cheverny, play golf (!) and attend a local jazz festival. Our lodging at Les Sources de Cheverny, for which we happily paid extra, was extraordinary. Also, Sophie was an amazing partner from start to finish: we so appreciated her flexibility on lodging, and her responsiveness as questions and needs (like bike helmets) arose. Merci beaucoup!

My husband and I had a wonderful trip aboard the Magnifique II. The crew was great and the biking was outstanding. Loads of fun!

Cycling in The Netherlands is wonderful and this trip took us to a great variety of settings. We cycled into small towns, past historic sites, through beautiful forests, across pretty meadows and felt comfortably safe the whole time. The route allowed for stops along the way while still feeling like we accomplished a good ride by the end of the day. The De Nassau was comfortable and accommodating. The crew and guide, Wilma, made us feel welcome and assisted us with any needs or questions we had. The bikes were well-maintained and comfortable. Thanks for a great trip!

Thirteen years ago we took one of our favorite family vacations aboard the Ave Maria from Mantova to Venice. We decided to recreate the trip with (now adult) children and their partners. The only week that worked was in the opposite direction and on the Vita Pugna. Before we knew it, we had other friends and family sign on and we filled 9 of the 10 cabins. As the trip approached we were concerned that the reality would not meet our memories or that a different direction or boat might lessen the experience.

We were thrilled to find out that any such fears were unwarranted. From the moment we boarded the Vita Pugna in Venice until the sad day we departed in Mantova, we had an absolute blast. The boat is not opulent, but very comfortable and well appointed. The food was excellent -- the wonderful Silvia not only made delicious meals every day, but nimbly adjusted to a number of us with different dietary tastes and restrictions. Our pursor/sommelier/captain in training Michele was a joy to be around and will make an outstanding captain soon. The captain, Ricardo (Bugy), was so helpful and fun and we thoroughly enjoyed interacting with him. And Giorgio, our fearless leader and guide, was funny, informative, patient, experienced and a pure joy to be around. The entire crew spent an enormous amount of time helping us to enjoy our trip.

The trip was simply fantastic.

We did this tour self guided on e-bikes and of the 3 we have done with Tripsite I think this was our best! The tour is so well organised, the partners in Portugal were so helpful! The scenery along the way is spectacular, from long coastal beaches to shady forests, waterfalls and all the little churches along the way. Riding amongst those walking the Camino was very special-- listening to some of the different reasons for doing it and making friends along the way. The hotels were good with two being amazing and one that was very average. We loved exploring the local towns to find somewhere to eat at night and loved the seafood rice on offer, always prepared a little differently. Also the pastel de nata were delicious! The Spanish and Portuguese were very friendly and I would love to do another tour in one of these countries. We had great weather which always makes for a memorable time.

Wonderful cycling among so many vineyards, orchards, and beautiful small towns. We particularly loved Avignon, wine tasting in Chateau Neuf du Pape, the beautiful Pont du Gard, a little Van Gogh in St. Remy and Arles, and the surprisingly attractive town of Aigues Mortes- no dead water there! Our favorite part was the ride was to Les Baux- made significantly easier by our decision to concede to age and use e-bikes. The boat is small and the cabins a bit cramped, but we weren't there to hang out indoors. The crew was excellent, particularly Micaela our guide and Alice the do everything steward. We had a great mix of shipmates, hailing from Canada, Australia, the UK, energetic Brazilians, and a few Americans. All together a great week!

I loved the small family-like atmosphere of the boat. I also loved the built in guided tours.

This is one of my favorite trips I have ever taken! We did the self-guided tour and had zero problems navigating, even with a detour due to construction. The tour was well supported (bags were at our hotels way before 4), communication was quick and responsive to any issues encountered, routes are gorgeous with lots of potential to stop and see extra sites on the side. My husband is NOT cyclist and it was manageable and fun for him too! The hotels are great; the breakfasts that are included are substantial and delicious. 10/10 recommend and would love to do another route in the future.

It was a fabulous trip, with a very friendly and compatible group of travelers. The sites and scenery were wonderful, wine and olive oil tasting were great. Food on board was delicious. Guides were amazing and extremely helpful. And e-bikes were a blessing.

This was our first bicycle/barge trip and it was a fantastic experience from the beginning to the end.
The cycle routes were safe, beautiful and easy to follow. We really enjoyed each day - even when the weather wasn't perfect. Visiting the Hanseatic cities was also very interesting: I enjoyed the walking tours in the evening.
Overall, I loved the trip and wish it was two weeks long!

Ranks right up there with one of our most enjoyable vacations. You have to love this active trip mixed with the luxury of Harmonia and the organisation of the tour company.
