What an amazing trip down the coast of Portugal. The views were amazing, loved the unique hotels/resorts we stayed at and the bikes were great! The difficulty rating for this trip is the only reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5. We felt it should have been higher with all the gravel, dirt and sand vs the easy to moderate rating it was given.

Stunningly beautiful scenery! Cycling was very easy with an e-bike.

Biking was great.
Negative was the extremely wavy waters the last two nights. Many people got sick.

I especially enjoyed staying in the Old Cities - Split, Hvar and Korcula

Great scenery along the Adige River valley. Some great hiking in the Oberbolzana area.

The staff is wonderful, the food was excellent. The riding with such beautiful scenery was just amazing.
Little confusion with this whole trip. Water levels were low for sometime, and yet we were given 2 days to decide if we wanted to cancel or proceed. Overall had a great time, but communication between cruise director and passengers could definitely improve.

Guides' knowledge and helpfulness, scenery and views, food quality and presentation

We really loved this trip. There was a little more city/traffic biking than advertised. My only comment is that this should be communicated to guests more clearly in advance.

The amazing friends we made (at our assigned dining table) as we rode through some amazing warm fall vistas.

The meals were fantastic and the crew were great. The rides were very scenic and our guides provided excellent knowledge and insight about the area.

We had a wonderful time on our 4th bike and boat trip. Our guide, Hugo, gave us so much history and information on each of our stops. He was enthusiastic and engaging, and you could tell he loves what he does. The people and crew, as always, were phenomenal! The food, prepared by our chef (I think his name was Alessandro) was beyond delicious! Hugo made each evening memorable with a special video that he created after each day’s ride. He sent the videos to each of us after the ride was complete.

However, the pace overall was too fast. Most people, including myself were on e-bikes. If I hadn’t been on an ebike, I would had trouble keeping up with the pace set by our leader, and I would not have enjoyed the ride. I don’t normally ride an ebike, and I’ve used an ebike on only one other bike/boat trip (Croatia) but I’m glad I opted for an ebike this time. I had mentioned slowing the pace a bit, but apparently, it was the pace necessary to maintain the schedule.
Also, the boat is a bit cramped for 21 riders at meal times and socializing after the ride. Overall, we had a great time and we are planning another bike/boat trip in 2028!

We loved the daily bike rides and having late afternoons and evenings to explore each town. The Tunalicious Festival in Poric was delightful. We had front row seats for the fireworks aboard the boat and out in the harbor.

Overall, it was a very enjoyable tour. The maps/guides were good and easy to follow. There were a couple of instances where there were detours, but it was easy enough to get back on track as the guide had a feature to return to the route. The hotels were generally modest, but clean and comfortable; no complaints. The breakfasts were all quite satisfactory. The ebike was pre-configured to my height, it was clean, well-maintained, in good working order, although it was a very heavy machine. The battery stored enough for several days ridding. For someone in their mid-seventies, the 50-60 km per day was doable as the terrain was mostly flat and the power assist came in handy towards the end of the day, especially as a couple of the hotels were higher up off the valley floor. The scenery covered rural, vineyards, quaint villages, industrial, but always there was the river. This trip has encouraged me to consider other river-side trips.

Tour was changed to Auvers to Moret thru Paris due to low water levels. The crew adapted to the change well and represented Paris nicely. The ride routes could have been better planned, but not bad for the unexpected change. We had a great time and loved the rides between dockings.

The scenery,day 3,4,5 6 was the highlight. The communication via WhatsApp setup by the company,was very helpful and the response time was quick.

It took some effort on my part to persist in getting the advertised hotel at Bad Schandau rather than what was initially given at a different ,less ideal town and location. I'm glad I persisted, as Bad Schandau was clearly the better choice.

The wine tasting experience was quite special and helpful in understanding the viniculture of the region. The 850’ climb was a challenge but very memorable in terms of the amazing views of the valley.

The food & service onboard were excellent, and the guides were helpful and attentive.

So enjoyed the biking. The scenery was great. Lived having the sauna and hit tub oprion after biking. The stafff responsible for bikes readiness did wonderful job

Tour route directions were good until the last day when the bike route was totally blocked by construction and we had to determine an alternative route that involved backtracking several miles. Beach hotels were good and city hotels were excellent. Baggage transfer went perfectly. Tour company provided first day escort out of Porto which was greatly appreciated. E-bikes we had were excellent.

Highlights included Seeing parts of Europe one wound not ordinarily see, learning about the history and culture of Belgium and Northern France. Also the camaraderie with fellow cyclists and the crew, especially our guide Harm.

Except for the Yotel, the accommodations were nice especially when it included a pool. Coastal views were stunning. Because we did self-guided, it would have helped to have more details for lunch options. We had difficulty on Day 1 finding a lunch spot because most things were closed on Mondays. My husband led the group of 12. He found the GPS screen to be too small and difficult to use. Sometimes it misguided us. On the last day in Santiago, he selected the route to take us to our hotel, but it took us elsewhere and we became confused at to where we should go next.
Unfortunately, upon first arriving, the Porto UBER transfer did not take us to our hotel. Somehow our driver was given the wrong address and we went 45 minutes out of the way. Thankfully, someone from Tripsite was available to speak to the driver over the phone and arrange for him to drive us back into the city centre and drop us off.

This self navigated trip covers some beautiful untrammelled scenery, along solid bike trails. Little villages with hidden gems await. Locals are friendly and helpful, food great not to mention the wine! There is little traffic to contend with allowing freedom to enjoy the beautiful countryside. We found storybook villages, Roman ruins, good restaurants and comfortable accommodations along the way. The guest house stays were especially pleasant.

Need to print out maps if taking ferry Not marked on trail system. Lack of WC and water supply at times. Would have like to know where you could get this

The scenery was beautiful. I would not consider this an”easy” bike tour. There are very long days and lots of hills, so even with an e-bike this was challenging

A fabulous cycling tour through some o the most beautiful countryside in Switzerland, with the bonus of also cycling through Germany, Liechtenstein and Austria.

Staying overnight in the likes of Stari Grad, Omis, Kocula.
Overnighting and then disembarking at Trigor was preferable to Split. Quieter, less comercialised, and we got to see an extra walled city as well as Split.

Nothing that stands out.several unexpected hotel choices not to my liking

The Sicilian people were wonderful including our local contact for the self-guided tour! It was a delight to have multiple days to both cycle and swim in the sea.

I thoroughly enjoyed riding the electric bike along the bike paths next to the Danube when there were no cars on the path.

The itinerary, the boat, the bicycles were all fantastic. The biking routes were great and took place on mostly paved pathways, with explanations and directions given to the group either in the morning or evening each day. The electric cycles were awesome and charged and ready to go each morning. The food was good and the drinks were reasonable priced. The staff were kind, especially those working in the dining room. The rooms were clean and had a surprising amount of area to store luggage and gear. We loved watching the scenery and taking pictures from the balcony of our room. We also enjoyed watching the boat maneuver from the top deck, the spa tub up there was never quite hot enough to use. While we were sad not to be able to explore our full journey due to low water levels on the Danube, the crew made every effort to find alternate excursions in it's place. It was a good trip.
