This was one of the best group trips we have ever taken. The boat (Magnifique IV) was well laid out and equipped, and the bikes were comfortable - regular and e-bikes. The guiding by Erna and Bert, was superb - interesting, fun, competent. The food, with Chef Alet, was outstanding- dinners were like those in a high end restaurant. The professional Captain (Gerard) and crew members (Gabriella, Maddy, and Alberto) were kind and did everything to make our trip safe and enjoyable. The routes, scenery, and stops were wonderful- fascinating with beautiful countryside and town views. The program and staff worked to encourage a wonderful comraderie among guests. But the end of the trip, our rides ran like a well oiled machine with warm friendships developing. The Belgian and Dutch people were warm and welcoming. Just the best trip!

The trip was full of so many wonderful sights, tastes, conversations, and history. I couldn't pick a favorite. The crew of seven all did a wonderful job.

The dinner time was my favorite time. Meeting and enjoying the atmosphere of everyone around me. The bike rides were wonderful. The sites of the towns and countryside were out of this world. Would love to book another biking experience. John M.

The itinerary was wonderful; we passed through several amazing cities, and the bike paths were very good.

I liked much knowing new people, what I suggest for next customer is to take the e bike, so you enjoy better the ride.

The boat is beautiful, the staff/crew are first class.
The food is amazing.
The guides were wonderful, they have planned the routs with care to show us how beautiful the countries are with great care for the safety of all.

One of the best bike tours I have taken! The Magnifique X ship was superb and spacious, the staff was so friendly and helpful. Our tour guides were amazing and the itinerary was fabulous! We saw and experienced so much of the culture and history of the Netherlands and Belgium. The bike paths were enchanting and each day there was variety of activities planned in our itinerary to see and do to experience the real Netherlands and Belgium.

I loved the non-stop beautiful scenery through countryside and towns. The bells tolled for us in every town we stopped in. I climbed towers at every opportunity. My favorite stops were in Schurr for coffee (with advocaat!) on a rainy day, the cheese farm, and getting to pet calves on another farm. The strawberry vending machine was a marvel also.
The Magnifique staff were all exceptional. I have never had such elegant and delicious meals for so many consecutive days before! To say we were well-fed is an understatement.

Loved the whole experience. The crew was excellent. The biking experience was good but wished for a little more biking & less stops.

The hotels were great, and the assistance from Tripsite was too.
We loved it!

The dining experience provided by chef Peter was awesome. The captain, Winnie, and her fist mate, Marije, displayed great skill in piloting the boat and made all the guests confident in their ability to maneuver the boat. The hosts, Hille and Marije, were very accommodating at meeting all the guests needs. The bike tour guides, Anneke and Hester, were informative about the local area and always aware of the riders abilities.

The crew was fabulous! Accommodations comfortable. Food was a good match for the price. The biking was as advertised.

This trip was absolutely amazing in so many ways from the scenery to the small towns to the friendly people we met along the way to the yummy food (freshest muscles hands down straight off the boat, tasty cheese (Gouda - now I know pronounced "HOW-DAH" :) & that mouthwatering delicious chocolate - WOW WOW WOW) - Absolutely MAGICAL especially the 2nd e-biking day Gouda/Oudewater to Papendrecht/Dordrecht riding through the famous windmills - Everything was fantabulous :)

The only caveat would be a few areas where we had to e-bike through long stretches parallel to highways, however, the backroad biking and quaint towns along with countryside cycling made up for this downside.

All in all, it was a blissful trip that we will never forget - This girl's soulful cup is FULL :)

We were supposed to do the Mosel but lack of water changed us to the Netherlands. Boat was very comfortable, chef was great and staff very warm and helpful. Owner graciously transported us to the starting point from our original location as well as back to the endpoint so that we could make our connections.

Knowledgeable and hardworking staff with beautiful scenery throughout the entire trip.

The Grand Tour was the perfect tour for our family. From booking with the fantastic agents at Tripsite to our final day in Amsterdam, everything was streamline. I wanted an easy introduction to biking for our two 20 something yr old sons and their partners. They are not avid bikers like myself so it was important to do a tour that was fun, easy and would promote the sport of cycling. I got them e-bikes. This tour did it all! The Magnifique X was beautiful. We had rooms on upper deck. The sliding window let in an incredible amount of light and made the room appear a bit larger. The beds and pillows were cozy with a nice size bathroom considering being on a barge. There was a lot of room on boat to lounge around and enjoy the scenic views. The Magnifique X staff were the best. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and safety. Our chef was Sidi. Some of the best food we’ve ever tasted came from this amazing Chef! It was the best food on entire trip including Paris and Amsterdam. The BBQ evening and chocolate Mousse were our fave’s. Our bike guides Eva and Caroline were knowledgeable. Safety was always a priority. We had daily updates on the following day’s itinerary. I highly recommend this Family Friendly tour.

Meeting new people from different places, and the Crew was amazing!

Truly enjoyed the countryside of the Provinces of Friesland and North Holland, The visit to the "Wouda Gemaal" the oldest steam pumping station was very interesting. It is still in use. It's amazing how the Dutch control the water levels of the entire country to prevent flooding. I found the cruising on the boat on the IJsselmeer very relaxing and a nice time to hang out! AND we had a great chef and guides.

A sensational trip with a perfect itinerary – highlighted by the Kinderdijk windmills – delicious food, a comfortable boat, and well-prepared guides and staff, especially our guide Anna and the barmaid Violet!!

We really enjoyed the scenery and the ease and comfort on the boat. It was gezellig!

The Netherlands was absolutely a beautiful place to bike through, we had a wonderful staff to take care of us and the other people on the trip quickly became friends.

Great trip. Not very many recommendations. Tour guide was great and staff on the boat very professional and great. Easy fix to one suggestion - bikes did not have water cages - they all should! The weather was moderate the week we went so it was comfortable on the boat, I was happy there was not a heatwave that week bc I would have been worried about the temperature on the boat. I really, really liked the trip!

The Dutch countryside and cities. The people who participated in the trip the staff which took which took very good care of us.

We just returned from the Amsterdam to Bruges bike-and-boat tour, and it exceeded every expectation.

The entire experience was exceptional from start to finish. The crew and guides were outstanding—friendly, professional, and genuinely focused on making sure every guest had an amazing time. The service aboard the boat was first-class, yet relaxed and welcoming.

The boat itself was fantastic: comfortable cabins, beautiful common areas, and the perfect place to unwind after each day’s ride. The food was another highlight. Every meal was delicious and thoughtfully prepared, and we looked forward to dinner every evening.

The cycling was exactly what we hoped for. The routes were scenic, well planned, and mostly on incredible bike paths through charming villages, canals, farmland, and historic towns. The bikes were high quality, comfortable, and well maintained, making the rides enjoyable for cyclists of all abilities. The itinerary struck a great balance between riding and exploring.

One of our favorite parts of each day was stopping in small Belgian and Dutch towns for a beer and a cone of fresh frites before continuing on. Those little moments made the trip feel authentic and unhurried.

If you’re considering a European bike-and-boat vacation, this is an easy recommendation. Beautiful scenery, outstanding staff, excellent food, great bikes, a wonderful boat, and an itinerary that lets you experience the Netherlands and Belgium at the perfect pace. We’d book another Tripsite tour without hesitation.

A glorious tour on an amazing ship with super awesome comfy bikes. Can't say enough about the food, staff, scenery, plus there was a festival in every town in Belgium the week we were there which only added to the fun. Thanks to all the staff for giving us a fantastic week!
