My most memorable part of the trip was cycling through the tulip fields

Wonderful cycling through small towns, forests and wetlands. This trip beat all my expectations.

The rides through the country side. The small authentic towns were beautiful.

Cycling in the country side. So beautiful. The excursions were enjoyable and all the history very informative.

The whole concept was wonderful, staying on this nice boat, Gandalf, with its lovely staff, going by bike through fields of tulips, visiting Keukenhof, meeting friendly Dutch people.

The Keukenhoff gardens of course. Also learning about the engineering complexities of water management that make/made Holland what it is today and continues to be. Finally learning what windmills are all about. Our chef Caroline was beyond outstanding!

I enjoyed the experience of being on the boat and days of cycling. It was a nice size group of 22 so that you could get to know others. The crew were fantastic. We nailed the time of season for the tulips. The parade and gardens were stunning

Excellent bike and barge. The staff on teh Godefridus were excellent. Meals were great. Guide was great. Only reservation I would make is that this was touted as the "Tulip Tour" and short of one day there were no tulips to be seen.

The whole experience was absolutely amazing and wonderful. I wouldn’t change a thing!!! First, if you’re going to bike in a foreign country you can’t beat the Netherlands. The tour really took you through the most beautiful countryside and the lovely small Dutch towns away from the heavy tourist spots. Technically, the GPS guidance was needed and perfect. We’ll be back :)

Visiting The Netherlands with my sister, as well as with the Tripsite founder, Hennie, made the trip extra-special. Hennie and her team shared many details of the areas we traveled through, which was greatly appreciated. The weather was perfect for cycling and sailing, both of which were enjoyed very much. The flowers are not to be missed: the flower parade - Keukenhof Gardens - acres of color throughout the countryside. The villages we passed through were lovely, as were the people we met. It was all wonderful! Thank you!

I’m a senior solo traveler and I found the group so warm and welcoming, even giving me a wonderful party with all the frills on my ‘special birthday’. The added bonus was having Hennie with us, telling us all kinds of wonderful stories about life and traditions in the Netherlands.
Our biking leader seemed always in a rush to get to the next stop. It would have been nice to enjoy the beauty of life in the many small towns we passed through or to learn a little about them. On the other bike trips I’ve taken the leader was also a guide ready to share lots of local information.

Definitely the guides & all of the crew were great. Both Alice & Thomas were brilliant & Sabrina was wonderful. Friendly, informative & helpful

Spectacular tulips, windmills, and countryside. Keukenhof gardens. Just the right amount of biking (50km/day). Boat size was excellent and gave us plenty of opportunity to get familiar with almost all the passengers. Guides were excellent ... we especially were familiar with MarieJose since we rode with her the 3 days. Suggestions: Might have mentioned to boost ebike's assist up to Sport or Turbo on the first day ... no sense trying to conserve battery since there was plenty. I'm not sure I saw pre-trip information tell us there'd be a bike bag ... not a big deal but it would have changed my choice of backpacks I brought. Maybe nametags would help ease into conversations with fellow passengers ... and phonetically spelled nametags for the crew too.

We just got home from our bike & barge trip. My husband & I had an amazing time, the crew was fantastic.
Xander our Captain was great, Gerrit was a fantastic chef and fed us well, Kitty our bike guide did a great job and took care of us and gave us a great experience while biking, touring the sites! Kitty is top notch and truly cared for us all. Petra & Sarah were also ready to help in any situation necessary. The whole crew saw us off each morning and greeting us at the end of each day, So very nice! The whole experience was great.
My husband had a non e-bike and the bike he had didn’t shift well it was very slow. We thought all the seats were very uncomfortable almost everyone else thought the same thing.

This trip was absolutely incredible. I went on it with my brother and grandmother and we had a wonderful time. The routes are beautiful and well-picked, as well as the hotels and bikes. I highly recommend this trip if you’re in the Netherlands and it was so much fun!

Outstanding! Beautiful scenery everywhere: wonderful towns, hotels, and meals. For a 74yrnokd grandma and her two teenage grandsons it was a perfect mix of challenge without exhaustion. Navigating was easy with detours easily found when we experienced a flat tire. My only complaint is that we didn’t have enough time in some towns. I’d like to take the tour again a day between certain cities in order to explore. Because we didn’t know how long it would take us to get from place to place we didn’t take advantage of some of the off route towns and sites.

Booking agent (Kirsten) was fabulous, guides and staff, fantastic and knowledgeable of all areas. Food was great, cabins, clean and good size. Bikes were in excellent condition. Loved the scenery, stops along the way — castle, gardens…
Guided walks in several locations at night after dinner was also a nice feature.

The tulip fields , the Dur’tch villages were the highlight of this wonderful trip. However a few adhustlents could ve made. Upon arrivai some light meal would be welcome. The Cook Chris could be more flexible in his atitude but the meals were excellent . Upon departure which was fixed at ten, a team of cleaner rushed on the boat at nine showing clear’y that we disturbing them with an unpleasent atitude.Tanks to our guide Patrick who conducted us in a very nice, eficient way, the problem has been clarified but left some unpleasanr feeling.

Ed, our biking guide, took us on walking trips through the towns nightly. He was great.

The weather was a bit chilly, but the scenery more than made up for it.

The crew worked well together.

Keukenhof is always a favorite. This is my second visit there, but loved it just as much the second time.

Another highlight was getting to know the friendly staff on the boat. They were so nice to us.

My most memorable part of the trip was the honor of going with Hennie. We had a fabulous time together and I especially enjoyed visiting her family and learn about where she grew up in Barneveld. Thank you for inviting me on this amazing trip.

2 things that were the highlights for me was first, sailing on a 4 mask sail boat. What an experience. Second was our day spent at Keukenhof tulip gardens. Spectacular!

We hit the tulip season perfectly mid April and the weather cooperated with sunny, cool days. Phew. The tour guides were friendly and informative and the cycling routes were carefully chosen on smooth, easy bike paths outside city centers. The flowers were absolutely amazing and their beauty impossible to describe or capture in photographs. The Magnifique IV was quite elegant, very clean and comfortable. The service and hospitality were impressive and the food delicious. I highly recommend this trip to cyclists of all levels. Thank you, Tripsite!

The trip allowed an unique experience and view of Netherlands, through beautiful small bike paths and the opportunity to visit historical villages, profit from the natural beauty of the countryside, with the magnificent tulips being the high point. The boat crew was excellent, with good service, excellent food and a very nice guide.

Staff on our boat was outstanding. The destinations were beautiful and the sights we visited were interesting. We had a great trip!!
