· The Grand Tour - Amsterdam, Bruges & Paris
Everything on his trip was wonderful! The boat was the best one we have been on, the cabins were large and they had sliding doors that opened to the river, the food was gourmet quality. The rides took us to wonderful cities which we walked through and toured from canal boats. The scenery was delightful and changing every day from river views to farmland and small towns. When we got to Paris one of the guides stayed there and was so helpful in getting us to the places we wanted to see.Like our own personal concierge.

Biking through the national tune forest was the best part for me. But it was all lovely. Except for the discrepancies between the written map and the GPS phone map it was very nice. The food was plentiful.

· Cycling in the Baltics - Vilnius to Tallinn
We spent 9 days soaking in the beauty of the Baltic States—at times gentle and pastoral, at others rugged and raw. This felt like a corner of Europe that most travellers simply pass by. The hotel were top notch where we could retreat for the night with tired legs and sore bums. I would not change a thing! A truly unforgettable journey through the Baltics, 440 kilometres on two wheels, three new countries explored, and countless memories gathered along the way. Thank you Tripsite!

Everything was top notch! The people. the crew, the food...everything!
One suggestion...when serving dinner entrees from whatever country the boat is currently in, please include the type of meat in English (ie: chicken or pork, etc.)

· Along the Danube - Four Country Tour
Wonderful scenery , small villages , the Danube River, the accommodations on the Vivienne were satisfactory .
The staff were friendly and accommodating, our dining room waiter Canon made us feel welcomed and looked after all our needs.Dietary requests were not completely met compared to previous tours.
If we were to compare this tour to a tour on a smaller barge ,as opposed to a larger barge we would definitely opt for a smaller vessel after this experience .

· Highlights of Dalmatia E-Bike & Boat
For me, this trip was the perfect blend of biking, island exploration, and time spent enjoying one of the most beautiful, immaculate, and comfortable boats imaginable.
The crew was efficient, accommodating, and attentive throughout the journey. The food was delicious and plentiful, with multiple courses at dinner and wonderful desserts. The breakfast buffet offered something for everyone.
The bikes were well maintained and ready each day for our rides. If you've ridden a bike before, you should have no trouble handling the hills with the e-bikes. Each day brought scenery more beautiful than the last. Croatia is a stunning country and should be on everyone's travel list.
The coordination between Tripsite and Island Hopping Bike Tours was seamless. We were fortunate to have perfect weather, great travel companions, and two exceptional guides, Ana and Tara. They were knowledgeable, funny, organized, hardworking, and a genuine pleasure to be around. They truly were the frosting on the cake of an already wonderful trip.

· Denmark and Sweden’s Scenic Coastlines
The boat/bike trip was great, but we had great weather which makes a huge difference. The boat was fun, the boat crew were great. Captain Bob was excellent. The service crew was very good. The breakfasts got a little repetitive, but were good. Dinners were also very good…desserts were also basically the same every night, but good. The biking tours with Jordy and Pim were great and they would go above and beyond offering walking tours in the evenings. There were some confusing communications from tripsite that the boat would in fact only accept Euros for the bar bill, but Swedish and Danish money were accepted as well. This confusion cost us a bit in exchange fees that we could have avoided. And on tipping, we stuck with the 5-7% recommendation in Tripsite documentation, but the messaging from the boat staff was kinda higher and confusing. All in all, a wonderful trip.

Our stay at the Convento de São Paulo was exceptional. Lots to explore in the hotel and grounds. The food was great.
The 12 speed ebikes were the best we have used on several trips we have taken in Europe. Having the extra lower gears makes a big difference if you want to minimize the amount of power used. The tour staff service was excellent.

Our group of 10 cyclists enjoyed a lovely self-guided tour from Tours to Angers thanks to Tripsite and their local tour operator. Kirsten with Tripsite was very attentive to our needs and spot on in developing a tour package that worked for our group, including merging this tour with the Tours-Angers leg. The scenery was breathtaking, the cycling was varied and fun, and the selected hotels and restaurants were memorable. We highly recommended selecting the chateaux and restaurants packages if you are traveling with a large group.

· South Holland Tour
We were a group of 4 friends doing a bike barge for the first time. Wisely we were offered a good deal and coaching for electric assist bikes and that did help make for an enjoyable experience. We also opted for suites and those were excellent. Such efficient bathrooms and plenty of storage. Nice decor and lighting. Internet spotting so used my phone as a hot spot.
Our one trip leader was extremely helpful - especially in guiding us thru some tricky parts of the route. The other was delightful in her presentations, but was a bit hard to understand and seemed to leave out some crucial information - especially on what routes or areas were very crowded for biking. My partner opted out of riding a few days because the 2nd day was so difficult for him. I found as we went along our skills increased and we understood the navigation better. I also was able to Google the bike computer to learn more about its operation and how to connect it to the map mileage. That was not explained in the beginning.
The crew: Not nearly as friendly as I had expected. They did seem to warm up to a large group of party girls by the end and maybe us too, but smiles and friendly greetings were lacking except for 1 or 2. My partner and I had come from the Cotswalds prior and everyone was just extremely friendly and helpful - so that made the contrast more evident. It just shows when people don't love their jobs.
I had also expected to meet more passengers, but that was a bit of a hurdle because of the different languages. I was glad we had a group of 4.
We were blessed with some great (but hot) weather and overall had a wonderful experience. Food was good and deserts were great. If done again we would pay more attention to not biking in cities if possible.

The food was very simple and the tour , very fast , all the Guides run a lot , we donn't have time to stop , take photos. The scenery was beautiful, but we couldn't enjoy it while cycling. The tour of the Netherlands and Germany was much more pleasant. But the boat's crew was very friendly.

Great mix of beautiful coast line, old villages, historic sites and rolling terrain.
- When did you take this tour?
- May 24 to 31.
- How did the difficulty level compare to your expectations?
- A couple of very short steep kickers which I had to walk but the routes chosen were excellent and I wouldn't want the routes changed. The tour busses on the climb to the castle in Sinatra were nerve racking especially on the switch backs so I walked part of that climb.

· Classic or Luxury Famous Villages of Provence
Memorable points or cities were: Châteauneuf-du-Pape wine tasting . After lunch at the very good Aubergue de Tavel restaurant; memorable cities like Gordes, Venasque (in this hilltop town we had lunch at Les Reparts with a wonderful view); Roussilon the orange and yellow city and to close the trip with the feeling of visiting incredible places, Le Baux-de-Provence. In this town you need to leave the bike aside and walk around it, understanding the history that took place there. The whole way to get to Le Baux is beautiful, as is the return to Saint Remy.

· Amsterdam to Bruges
We travelled May 24th to 31st on the Fluvius. (Amsterdam to Bruges).
The biking, the crew and the guides were fantastic. The ship on the other hand was not. We had one engine and no air conditioning.
This caused several problems: our riding was cut short on the first three days because of the engine difficulties.
The sleeping cabins and the dining room/ lounge were very close to unbearable with the heat and lack of air flow. Some nights we had to sleep with our door open due to the heat to allow for some air flow which presented privacy concerns for all as many of the passengers had to resort to this tactic of open doors. The crew did a great job working through these conditions but this is unacceptable working and living conditions.
While we enjoyed our time off the ship I would have serious reservations booking again with your company.

· Prague to Vienna
Prague to Vienna is very romantic sounding and it was despite the 335 miles of beautiful rolling countryside in Czechia and the 18,500 feet of climbing. Most memorable is the constant undulating beauty of the Czech countryside and the amazing historical towns. There is natural and human scale beauty at every turn. The Czech people I suppose have become tolerant to visitors that cannot even say thank you correctly but they are universally cordial. We are avid cyclists but over 70 so I would call it a challenging trip. We took a rest day in Znojmo which turned out to be necessary because 9 straight days of riding was too much. And it is a thoroughly interesting town. We knew little of Czechia but would recommend it heartily to any adventurous spirits.
- When did you take this tour?
- May 16th-25th 2026
- How did the difficulty level compare to your expectations?
- It was a little bit harder. My wife and I have high end road bikes and these were excellent gravel bikes but with a pannier and no toe clips. So a little bit hillier, a little bit heavier, and a little bit rougher than we usually ride but on balance the routes couldn't have been better. We didn't want smooth roads with cars.

· Highlights of Dalmatia E-Bike & Boat
Our recent bike/boat tour on the Harmonia was absolutely amazing. Croatia has been on our bucket list for years and this trip was all we hoped it would be. The Dalmatian islands and all the seaside towns just take your breath away. Our guides Mirta and Max were fun, super-competent and conscientious as they seamlessly herded us all up and down the hills of Dalmatia.
The captain and crew kept us on schedule and the boat was spotless and beautiful. The amazing cooks and the lovely Ivona who ran the dining room whipped up meal after delicious meal with such efficiency and heart. We will always remember our tour as one of the best trips we’ve ever taken.

· Provence - Wilderness of Camargue
We had an excellent on-barge experience. The crew—Didier, Omar, and Sara—were fantastic. Our captain, Didier, a fifth-generation (!) barge captain, was delightful and engaging. Omar anticipated every passenger's need, whether spoken or unspoken. Sara was an inventive chef who brought fantastic energy to the boat; her nightly descriptions of the menu made every meal feel like "dinner and a show."
Additionally, we were lucky to have an exceptional group of passengers. Our four-person group from Boston clicked immediately with the travelers from Canada and Florida. In addition to enjoying our time with them on the barge, we collaborated well during our rides to ensure everyone stayed safe, which truly enhanced the trip.
While our experience with the tour guide—an experienced biker but not a natural tour leader—was less positive, it was not enough to dampen our overall enthusiasm for the journey.
