We had a wonderful time for a first bike and barge. Would highly recommend this trip.
The staff were incredible and of course the biking. For couple of days there was strong head winds so had the work really hard as we had regular bikes..well worth the effort and sense of accomplishment at the end of the day.

My most memorable part of the trip was the honor of going with Hennie. We had a fabulous time together and I especially enjoyed visiting her family and learn about where she grew up in Barneveld. Thank you for inviting me on this amazing trip.

2 things that were the highlights for me was first, sailing on a 4 mask sail boat. What an experience. Second was our day spent at Keukenhof tulip gardens. Spectacular!

The food was 5-star quality! Great chefs!
Ship was immaculate and comfortable.
Weather was great and no tourists in the islands except for us! Great time of year.
I would have liked more historical commentary on the rides. The local guide tours were just okay. I thought the wine prices on the boat were a bit high for local wines($40+). Service and crew were very professional and pleasant. I have done several of these type of trips all over the world. Boating and biking is a great combo. Overall a very positive experience!

Sailing was fun, tulips were amazing. I really enjoyed Texel and the towns on the island. Our host was perfect. She had a story for everywhere we stopped.

We hit the tulip season perfectly mid April and the weather cooperated with sunny, cool days. Phew. The tour guides were friendly and informative and the cycling routes were carefully chosen on smooth, easy bike paths outside city centers. The flowers were absolutely amazing and their beauty impossible to describe or capture in photographs. The Magnifique IV was quite elegant, very clean and comfortable. The service and hospitality were impressive and the food delicious. I highly recommend this trip to cyclists of all levels. Thank you, Tripsite!

This trip was spectacular, in all respects. The boat was beautiful and very well maintained. The crew friendly, efficient and helpful. The food was delicious and plentiful. The bikes were great, well maintained. Our guides, Eddie and Bubi, were wonderful. Funny, entertaining, knowledgeable and very much attuned to the group dynamic. Great group of guests. All in adequate shape. We all rode at our own pace. Some speedsters, but others enjoying the spectacular scenery of each island. Guides made us all comfortable with whatever speed we chose to ride. All in all, this trip is a great value for the money!

Carla did an amazing job organizing our trip. The transfers were smooth, we had a group of eight couples and she communicated beautifully with everyone. We loved the ship we loved our guides Esther and Jack. The itinerary was excellent.

The trip allowed an unique experience and view of Netherlands, through beautiful small bike paths and the opportunity to visit historical villages, profit from the natural beauty of the countryside, with the magnificent tulips being the high point. The boat crew was excellent, with good service, excellent food and a very nice guide.

The great guides we had. both very knowledgeable of the area. The food was also very good. Chef excellent.

My stay in the Loire Valley was very satisfactory. The arrangement of staying in a single hotel while visiting the region's iconic castles provided a high level of comfort and convenience. This approach is an excellent option for those looking to explore French heritage at a steady and well-organized pace.

I'd like to begin by mentioning this was our 4-5 Tripsite trip, heretofore we have enjoyed our previous experiences.

1) The rating for this trip on the Tripsite website is "Easy/Moderate", whereas the rating on the Island Hopping (the operator) website is 5/5 which is their highest level of trip. We found it difficult even with e-bikes, the frst two days we climbed 6000 feet with several 8-10% grades. The sights were historical and we enjoyed them once we arrived. However the physical effort to finish daily left more exhaustion than we are used to.
2) The food quality and preparation was not up to our expectations. Breakfast was exactly the same each morning. The evening meals were bland; "Pass the Salt, Please" was the daily montra.
3) Our cabin never had a change of towels the entire week.

The trip itinerary is fantastic. Every tip, every stop is worthwhile. We would like to give special recognition to the local team for their excellent service.

Enjoyed cycling through small towns, through countryside, lifting of the sails, the food and coffee, the entire crew and of course, the tulips.

The friendships made on the trip were wonderful. The organising of the bikes was excellent. The waiters and waitresses were lovely and all so professional.

I loved the diversity of the bike rides: We rode through beautiful countryside passing sheep and cows, on top of dikes by the water, and through charming towns and cities. The beds on the boats were very comfy and the food was terrific. I returned home feeling refreshed.

Wonderful trip despite a couple alterations to the itinerary. This was our second trip booked with Tripsite and we would highly recommend to anyone.

The beautiful landscape and canyons. We preferred a lot the early season because of lack of cycling roads, so there was nearly no traffic on normal roads.

The e-bikes we had were sturdy,the batteries powerful and we never got close to fully depleting them on a day's cycle. In particular the route finding app with its spoken commands and detailed map was great. Much better than the written route description we have had on previous bike tours. Mostly on small secondary roads, gravel tracks (quite bumpy) and cycle paths, the times we were cycling on major roads was hazardous. No injuries, though I was nearly wiped out by a car on a round-about.

Overall a great experience. I enjoyed making new friends, the excellent dinners, the welcoming and helpful staff. I loved exploring a beautiful country from a bike but would have liked a bit more time to visit the small towns we cycled through.
