The scenery was wonderful, the guides were full of care for clients, the food was fantastic, the beds were comfortable, but the best part was the friendships formed between staff and clients throughout the journey.

The only thing I could say is that the entire trip was just wonderful. The staff, the captain, the accommodations, the food, and the people were just awesome!

The biking guides did a wonderful job making sure we were safe and secure a while biking through those nice bike trails in the Netherlands. They took breaks when you needed it. We stopped at small villages, traveled through Farmfields and saw a lot of the Netherlands including sheep, cows, canals, windmills and fantastic farmlands. The islands were great with loads of green scenery. The beaches were pretty with white sand and lots of kites sailing the skies. The stops at places like the aquarium, the planetarium and the old shipwreck museum was pretty cool too!

I started out with a pedal bike and was even able to make 31 miles through Texel Oudeschild Loop.
However, the last two days I decided to rent an E bike. Their E bikes are custom-made and actually you could pedal without assistance if you don’t want to use the E part of it. I would recommend to get the E bike as you could relax a little more on the biking tour. If you go, I’m sure you’ll have a wonderful time!

The food and lodging were fantastic. The crew was up beat and helpful.

I liked working with Tripsite because I got assigned a contact and she (Britney) was helpful and responsive.

Our route for our trip had to be changed because a bridge was being repaired. The guides were not as familiar with the history and highlights of the new route. But they did pretty good.

A fantastic trip exploring the Netherlands - amazing tulips, windmills, sand dunes, canals…. The crew on the Iris were amazing and the meals were excellent. Thomas and Tim were great guides and we learned much about the country at each of our stops. Meeting others who enjoy cycling was a big part of the experience.

A great route with such history and two great cities! Would highly recommend not only the route, but the tour company. I was provided with Ride with GPS files in advance and a host of maps and other information upon arrival in Prague. They also use the "Trip Plans" app, which not only gives you the routes, but historical and other information about the towns you will be passing through and restaurant recommendations!

Great communication during the ride as well - even making a route change along the way due to road construction (they updated the Ride with GPS file in seemingly real time).

I have done a dozen or so self-guided solo bike trips around the world and often have had very little support - this team made it easy and they were always just a WhatsApp text or call away.

Looking at booking my next tour with them now...

I enjoyed the scenery and history and fun facts about each of the islands we biked. The views of the Adriatic Sea from our bike routes were breathtaking. Our 3 guides, Ana, Lea and Martina, were excellent. They kept us safe, they shared the history of the areas and they made the tour fun for all of us.

Great boat, itinerary and crew.

Would prefer biking mornings and motoring afternoons. Most of trip motored til noon. Ate at 1:30. Began biking after big lunch about 3.
That is my only complaint. The las 2 days were morning bikes, much preferred

My husband and I had a marvellous time on this tour. It didn't turn out to be a boat bike trip; instead it was a hotel bike trip as the Thalassa wasn't available, but it didn't have a negative effect on our trip. The itinerary changed substantially as we used ferries instead of the Thalassa, and stayed on some different islands, but the quality of the tour was high and we had a really memorable and enjoyable time. The guides were excellent and really looked after us. Nothing was too much trouble and we were wined and dined royally. The bikes were high quality and performed flawlessly, and the scenery was gorgeous. I would not hesitate to recommend this tour, but will say you should not join unless you have a reasonable level of fitness. The hills on the islands we visited (particularly Andros) are challenging even on an e-bike but well worth the effort.

The first day we were so excited to be on the coast- rugged beauty and good biking trails.
Our self guided trip relied on the provided GPS and the use of the phone app for better navigation.
Pedralva stood out for its uniqueness but each location chosen for lodging had its charms.
It would be nice to know in advance when food was not available right at the lodging as we might have planned beforehand for that.
We were lucky to avoid rain but did find lots of puddles on a couple of days but really overall, everyone was happy with the route and very glad we went.

The trip was beautiful, unforgettable! We loved the trails along the beaches and forests. Passing through small towns and alleys in old neighborhoods was welcoming. We were very well received in the excellent hotels and restaurants suggested. Walking through the cities we passed through was very pleasant. Taking raincoats was very important for the first day.

A fabulous trip! The staff/crew could not have been any better. Biking was so much fun on the ebikes and they made it very easy.

I really enjoyed the tour of the cheese farm in Gouda! Plus the evening walks after dinner were very informative!

From the meticulously repurposed barge, to the fantastically beautiful daily rides with an expert guide, to the daily on-board meals made with heart, this was one of the best tours of our lives. I recommend it to anybody that likes to hop on a bike (there was lots of e-bikes). Coen is a real master captain, and he spares no energy sharing his commitment to detail and perfection.

Guides, crew, views, food, island towns and villages, route planning, light courteous vehicular traffic, all contributed to a superlative experience. The bikes provided were excellent. The e-bikes were so speedy up the frequent long uphill climbs! Fit individuals on traditional bikes played catch-up.

Loved visiting the tulip gardens. Food was delicious. Hospitality top notch. Guides very accommodating. High quality of bikes. The Iris is a great boat for this type of travel.

The crew and the guides did a wonderful job of making sure everything wonderful.
All of the extras that were included in our bike outing made the entire trip memorable. Encouraging everyone I know to take this trip. The absolutely perfect way to see The Netherlands!

The guides were exceptionally engaged with us. Ana seems to be leading an excellent example for the other 2 ladies.

Biking through the countryside and seeing fields of tulips growing was amazing. The country itself was wonderful even without the tulips. Our guide, Hetty, was fun and kept a pace that worked for all. We were on the Merlijn, which had just been refurbished. It was beautiful and the owners and staff were great!

This is a great culinary tour where you learn how parmesan cheese, wines, and balsamic vinegar are made. The cycling was easy, but caution needed when entering busy cities. We recommend opting for the guided and really enjoyed this tour.

The ARosa Alva is a beautiful ship with an outstanding crew. The town of Porto is charming.
The biking tour guides; Horacio, Fabian and Amos were outstanding. The riding was fun, though mostly downhill. The scenes along and above the Duoro were the kind that pictures cannot do justice to. A great trip to learn about Port winemaking. Outstanding!

Horácio, Amos, and Fabian were excellent guides as they led us all through the Douro River Valley. Horácio was kind, intuitive to our needs, fun, and very knowledgeable of the area and the people. Surprising at such a young age he was able to entertain us 60+ year olds. We were a large group of 22 all traveling together and had some most amazing best time! Also, Horácio managed to take photos of us cycling and put them on a google drive that we were then able to download! 5 stars to the men who guided us and to the tour. We packed a lot in a few days and wish we had more time.

Absolutely beautiful scenery. Amazing service. Everything was really nice, and relaxing. Every single employee was nice and helpful!

This was a lovely trip, beautiful scenery, great people and guides. The biking was mostly on good roads. On the boat, one of the most fun and interesting experiences was going through the locks.
What I had not realized would be the case is that we were a very small group of 8 on a boat with about 120 other passengers.

the only part I would question or criticize is the below deck berths : so appreciated the piped in air...at first was afraid of potential asphyxiation - ? where is this air coming from ?...by 7:30 in morning & with some clothes on I was way too warm & had to leave..other passengers said same...how will it be in warmer weather ?

The crew worked as a team. The meals were excellent, the appetizers were a pleasant and welcoming enlightenment to arrive back from a days bike riding and encounter beautifully prepared appies awaiting us.
Our ride leader Michaela (spelling?) a true high light. Kept our days light and fun filled .

Wonderful tour and great crew. The experience of riding to see the tulips, Windmills and other sites wonderful. The crew and ship exceeded our expectations. The Chef and crew worked to accommodate our dietary restrictions and the food was wonderful.

The entire organization of the trip was great. I recommend that you change your bike to a mountain bike for your next trip.
